probably better than the +9 machete against PW even at +5

you need to uncap it to get the really good durability goes from 1701 at +4 to 7000 at +5

If you have full mastery in the machete then you won't get experience from it its just a variant of that weapon like a reskin basically and has the same exact move set.

I haven't tested it on him yet so I can't recommend it but stat wise its better in my opinion with a +9 machete only doing 3117 DAM and the +5 beam katana doing 3601 DAM and then the katana is way easier to upgrade since you don't need any grade 6 or higher materials too fully upgrade the 4th tier version then its only two purple DOD to uncap it but downside is the blueprint for it does cost you 20 DMs to purchase from the hernia machine and then PW is weak to fire and not electric and the katana is 50% electric damage so I would need to thoroughly test it to recommend it.

Youre so informative lol. Ive know it stat wise from reddit, i farmed NM PW with +4 machete ans usually spend 3 dm lol. Beam dmg is higher obviously, but im curious about how bad the 50/50 dmg/elemental works with PW and no fire continuous dmg

@@VReinnerL so I wasn't doing anything important so I went ahead and did a quick test run on NM PW and what I definitely noticed is how quicker I was stunning him this usually doesn't happen with the machete but this was just one run maybe I got lucky. If I'm not doing anything wed I will test the machete and beam damage on two different runs as I am curious too how the raw damage compares between the too excluding fire ticks.
