CMPD Chief Kerr Putney says 21-year-old student Riley Howell was a hero in the April 30, 2019 shooting at UNC Charlotte. He was lauded for taking action and saving lives by tackling the gunman.

Such a beautiful soul I cannot imagine how the parents feel pain after getting him so far in life and here he is right on the precipice of being all he can be just to be snuffed out by someone so shallow

Really tragic that not involved souls are being tortured in a stupid war for power. No weapons produced globally and people would start fighting like real men/woman. May you rest in peace Riley Howell, 21 and a good soul. I hope your next life will not end as sudden as this life. I pray for you Riley.

Somebody please explain to me why the governor of N.C. had to make a special trip to Charlotte from Raleigh just to participate at a press conference for an alleged event that only took six seconds?? And notice how hard they are praising the school's emergency app that was suppose to send out a campus-wide alert regarding said event.....I'm calling bullshit on this one.
