So glad to see David and friends on stage...such a beautiful flash back "unchained" and now a show to put Van Halen around the world again! Thanks a lot!
Totally shocked. Totally shocked. Wow I don't know what to say. Besides, I got tears running down my face Eddie on my mind Eddie rest and cheese brother. The world misses you. You're playing for God man. God you're missed. Eddie Van Halen number one 10 February 1978 I do believe they came out. They blew everything away. Oh my god!
Damn boys nailing it ! I saw them on this tour fair warning . I close my eyes & swear it’s them ! I appreciate all the time & hard work you do to look & sound this great ! Keep on rolling! Take care God bless ! Hope to see you soon in or around Philly / Atlantic City area? I’m there !
While watching the video, I closed my eyes for a few minutes, I thought this was the real Van Halen. This money I would gladly spend. Job well done gentleman.
You guys again….. DAMN!!!!! IDK how you do but there’s NO ONE who can perfectly perform AND capture the essence. Sadly, “big names” tribute tour will be out there trying to milk the cow without delivering it. Wish I could see you then instead. THANK YOU for keeping the =vh= alive without the drama and false pride. Van Halen was the band of my childhood, my inspiration becoming a drummer. Never thought I would end up the way it did, but the memories and their music will last forever. Keep rocking and…. Stay frosty🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Um……. BRAVO!!!!!!! You guys NAIL IT!!!!!!!! My husband and I are blown away right now watching your vids!!!!! I have seen early VH live (front row both times, back in general admission days) and you guys are the best VH tribute band we’ve seen yet! Every one of you is excellent! I’m gonna go ahead and comment that ‘Michael Anthony’ is truly killing it with those vocals!!!! Such an integral part of that Van Halen sound!! AWESOME!!!!
Not sure how I found this video but you guys are so freakin awesome! I looked you guys up online and found out about this Harefest festival as well as another concert that you guys will be doing just down the road from me over here in independence, and my wife and I will be checking you out at both of those concerts. See ya soon!!!!
I hope this group is still together. I would like to go see them. This is a great tribute band. Never seen Van Halen concert. Something I always wanted to do in my life, but never got to it too much partying I guess.😂
OMW!! Eddie should have hired this singer. He's sounds like Roth on the Album. Better than DLR ever did live and roth lost his voice like 5 years after he left VH.
Not when Dave was I'm his prime. This guy is very good as is the whole band. I saw them live 7 times between 78-84. Although Dave always drank, I never saw him wasted at the shows I was at. A lot of people diss Dave's voice for some crazy reason, but listen to VH1 thru 84 and name another singer that had the blues vocal quality to sing those songs. I love Sammy and he has a great rock voice, but if he had been the original singer, VH would simply been another very good band with a guitar God. With Dave, they were the greatest ever. There were two really big egos in that band that led to its demise, but he pressure of Ed's musical ability and Daves songwriting and vocal choreography are what created a diamond of a body of work that very few if any will replicate. If they could have simply taken a 2-3 year hiatus, instead of splitting up, come back and put together a couple of more albums, they would be talked about in the same universe as the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. The 70's, un my opinion was a time when there were more great bands, so many phenomenal guitarists, drummers, bass players, and singers. It was a very crowded decade, and they were all good. However when Van Halen came out, it was like a UFO landed and out walked four guys with not only incredible swagger, but talent that far excelled it, led by an indescribable guitar hero, who to this day, is different than anybody before or after. Supposedly at the Texas jam in 1978(I was too young to go), VH was the opening act. They rubbed all the big established acts the wrong way with their swagger when they began to take the stage. On the way, DLR told the bunch of them that they are going to soon wish that they didn't have to follow VH. After Ed played Eruption, Ted Nugent(who is one hellnof a guitar player himself) looked at everybody who was simply stunned by what they had just heard, and said, " what they hell are we going to do now?" It only took VH about six months from being unknown outside of socal to headlining their own arena shows. Very few, if any bands can claim that.
@@boydjobe1324 Did you ever have the pleasure of seeing / hearing Gary on the 1998 tour - again, no showmanship or long hair, but incredible range who could justifiably cover the entire catalogue. Dave was fine until he was originally released from the band, but coming back - he had no ability to sing anything past 1984, and just resorted to shouting / spoken word style. I stand by Hagar and Cherrone, they are legends of rock.
@josepha4786 I never saw them with Gary, but I have heard them with him on RU-vid and he sounds great, not like DLR in his prime, but a better vocalist overall. I agree with you that when Dave rejoined VH, his voice was done, but he still had it until the early 90's solo. I love Sammy, as Sammy. He just never fit in fir what VH was really about. People that knock Dave's vocals in the first five albums, I don't think have an ear for music. All the hits, but songs like where have all the good times gone, ice cream man, pretty woman, beautiful girls, little dreamer, etc, would be different without Dave's very unique vocal abilities. The phrasing, screams, vibrato at the time, blues Ines. Sammy hated those songs because he couldn't sing them, not because he couldn't sing, but because Dave designed those vocals for himself. He understood that Ed liked to play on top of the beat and really had an excellent singing voice for those songs, knew when to be silent but also knew when to drop back in with his oohs and ahhs and screams. There is no doubt he is a strange cat, but when
Metaphorically Speaking Hell yeah and Physically 🎉😂❤. I relate to this song, identify definitely 😁😀. 555 synchronicity. 11:11. Happiness 😹😊 I choose myself. The devil's energy melts off. Chains are gone. 🎉🎉😂🎉😂🎉🎉
You know, I never really looked but unless I would’ve read the comments, I would’ve thought that was Van Halen again as they said well done.… But yeah I was completely fooled
I admit the band including the vocals are pretty spot on but the only thing I can't wrap my head around is why these tribute bands wanna dress up and try to look like the actual band members??? Lol. It kinda makes it feel cartoon like. Maybe me? I just don't see why? 😆
