Could totally relate with his thought on the gap between "popular science" articles and research papers written as if their audience took the same university classes. Love hearing Vitalik's talks, I always learn something new as I'm relatively new to the crypto space just so many cool ideas like quadratic voting that I'll have to explore further.

Very cool frank discussion. Crypto currencies have not gone threw large world events such as major wars, governmental various large changes in rules and regulation. How adaptive will some of these projects be or how effective to a changing world so to speak? Other issue is a changing coin becomes a unpredictable long term coin. A mathematical governed coin with only minor adjustments I would think would naturally look more secure then an ever evolving changing one - each can have it's own value.

Great interview! Thank you, Laura. Vitalik is a (genius) developer and has zero abilities to play politics and act a salesman (or business guy, if you prefer). Many people in crypto are just interested in temporary financial gains (“Modern Investors” 😄 )

Pretty much, that's why people run into issues in the TurtleCoin discord server - TurtleCoin is focused on the technology and what it could enable rather than how to pump the price so everyone that got in early can get a lambo - they come in demanding to speak to the CEO and requiring payments before they consider working on the project. No market talk in the Discord as such, plenty of other places for that to occur, TurtleCoin discord is for the tech. A cryptonote based project.

At 51 mins he said there is someone called Glen who likes blockchains because they "formalize property without formulizingng individuality" - where can I read more about this - where did Glen, who is he and where did he say this? Thanks
