It’s definitely excellent, but I have to disagree. Boots Randolph did it best, in my opinion.

@@TheMinecraftACMan I didn't even know who Boots Randolph was, but due to your comment, I looked him up. I agree that Boots Randolph did it best, in your opinion, because in my opinion, Johnny Ferreira far surpasses the skill that Boots Randolph seems to portray. I don't know why he kept stopping and blowing out short notes, but it interrupted the piece and really ruined the mood. Johnny's version is so smooth in comparison. I won't bash Boots entirely, as I only listened to this one tune, but if he stops and "enunciates", chopping up the tunes of everything else he plays, then it really is going to be a deal breaker for my opinion of his music. I know. Like my opinion matters, but still. Thanks for introducing a new musician, all the same.

@@davidmcmanus4751 Look into some of his other work, he's pretty good. He's the guy who did the famous "Yakety Sax" which is better known for being the song that was used for Benny Hill skits.

thanks for that. ya, the days get chewed up pretty fast with so many things to do but we gotta string a bunch of them together and eventually you'll get something out if you can put it in...good luck!

That's one of the best reason to listen to other artists. I learned sax by listening to, and trying to emulate Boots Randolph, Charlie Parker, Stan Getz, and even Kenny G.

Over 3 decades, from what I hear. He played with the Rollin' Stones, Robert Plant, ZZ Top, Keith Richards, just to name drop a few. I just signed up for his SaxAcademy to learn how to play. I just want to play without embarrassing myself! haha
