Not just those in power but all types of people participate in human trafficking! I was very close to being a victim of trafficking a few years ago, I got very lucky and I was able to call for help but I literally only had minutes before my life would have changed completely. I saw the customers that were paying for these poor girls and its everybody from drs to the little old man across the street who is on social security! If those that purchase human beings are only classified as one group of people then we are ignoring what is really happening and who is actually involved. Sadly victims won't ever be rescued and the traffickers and customers will never be caught or prosecuted for their crimes if we are only looking at one group of people involved!
