@@williehall4069 slapped her when he was already annoyed and literally knew nobody. Honestly this is very smart. Now she knows how he thinks and how to manipulate him, Now she's tying him to her to ensure future security. It's a galaxy brain move only the wrinkliest of synapses could manage.
@@confirmedl6901 well... No, not really. Bulla "or bra" Has always been a thought, there's a reason she even showed up in GT. The thing is Vegeta unlike Goku is a family man and he wants to have a big family, but he also wants to show up Goku so. as long as he has two (trunks/Bulla) to compare to Goku's (Gohan/Goten) He's not falling behind.
@@Azothify I think ur over thinking like come on that was dumb like if she's trying to learn how he acts do it another way what if he just decided fuck it when she slapped him and erased her
He was not willing to lose to Champa during the Universal of Destroyers tournament as Champa's wish would've been to switch Earths with his universe & Beerus. Beerus was kind enough to use HIS wish to revive Universe 6's Earth instead.
@Wasser Minerali Actually, if you want to get serious there, we have seen Whis protecting the Z-Warriors from Freeza when he and Beerus ate a bowl of ice cream, he helped the Z-Warriors finding out about SSG (albeit it was in Beerus' wish, which, however, should be even more of a reason for Whis to lay hand, considering both Beerus and Whis are on the same page), he helped Bulma giving birth to Bulla, he agreed to train Goku and Vegeta. Also, Whis can be a good transportation guide throughout the multiverse, he also knows seemingly everything. So yeah, if the requirements are met, Whis can be a pretty good uncle. Just not as active as Goku and Vegeta.
I love how everyone went from being scared of even breathing the wrong way around Beerus to literally just doing and saying whatever they want to him and getting away with it
To be fair, they've had practice for literal years. Remember, Goku met Kami, the guardian of Earth and pretty much the highest level deity (that they knew of at the time) when he was a kid. Kami was even trying to get Goku to take his place. He got to know Kami and from there became friends and eventually just treated him like anyone else...which lead everyone else to do so. Much like many other good hearted heroes, Goku's greatest ability isn't his sheer power, but his ability to make allies and friends of even those that tried to kill him. Besides, Beerus might be a prick at times, but he's not a monster. Destruction is part of his job for, as he says "before creation comes destruction." Besides, after they found out the Omni King is mentally like Goku, they probably are more worried about him destroying everything than Beerus...and Beerus is also now both happy to use the boss as an excuse not to blow up his favorite food place and the people he's grown to like...but also is probably more than a little afraid of what the Omni King might do if he dusted Goku or his world.
Also, most of the Z Fighters are used to it. For most of them, angry people like Vegeta could've killed them as easily as Beerus. Bulma's whole life has been hanging around people who could kill her with a hard sneeze.
@@deez2037 fINaL dEsTrucTIoN!!! *Hakai* [dramatic finish!] -overkill- RIP: 15 year old in Bulla's high school who dared gossip about her, did not even get to see the after life😈
Bulma turned a planet destroyer into a caring husband who fights for good and now she's slowly turning a god of destruction into an protective uncle. Truly the MVP of the Dragon Ball Universe.
@The Adventurer The thing I love about Beerus is that he used to be cold and uncaring. But I guess since meeting Goku he's softened up, still has anger issues needing Whis to real him in, and he could easily destroy Earth if he wanted, but I don't think he will as he's basically made an investment in it, sure he doesn't get much involved when danger shows, but I guess that's cause all the threats were Freiza's return which is a problem of just the Saiyans, he did investigate Goku Black's Time Ring but that was a matter of the gods, even killed Zamasu thinking he averted the disaster, And the next major threat was Broly, but again that was a Saiyan problem though Whis did hold off Broly a bit but never did anything to help win. Overall Beerus is interesting in that he's taken a liking to Earth because of it's food and he sees the potential of Goku and Vageta as potential challengers, heck I thin in the Manga he started training Vageta to become a God of Destruction helping him learn Ultra Ego, but Vageta turned it down because of the cost. Yet Beerus doesn't much interfere in threats to Earth. But it does make sense, if he wants strong opponents in Vageta and Goku they need to be able to handle whatever the face. And it does make for comedic moments with people like Bulma comfortable around him like in this scene.
And to make it better that’s just the tip of the iceberg . She invent so many things that are absolutely integral to dragonballs plot . The dragon ball radar , the time machine, gokus heart disease medicine , the newer battle armor for Goku, Gohan, trunks, and Vegeta for training in the time chamber and fighting cell. While I can’t confirm the armor was better then Vegeta original sayain armor, ost people I ask agree it was at least equal to it in terms of quality. Nearly all forms of vehicle based transportation the z warriors use were ether invented by bulma or she had easy access to Becauce of being the daughter of DR. Breifs . She helped find DR.Gero’s lab. While it was never used, she was the one who made the kill switch for the androids. And to top it all off, regardless of if you like GT or not , she did Crete the flux wave generator that helped Vegeta transform into a SSJ4. She is without a doubt, the most important non powered character in the entire franchise
Because for god of destruction made of keeping balance to the universe opposite to Kai who create planet trees etc that's why supreme kai and berus life is connected with each other. If berus keeping destroy planet on his own wish or for his will only he could be erase by Omni king
Imagine being protected by A king of the strongest race in existence A mortal who can destroy galaxies A brother who can crush a planet A god of destruction who can seemingly wipe out any thing from existence An angel( the old one was angle lol) The king of everything Bulla is protected more than the earth ever was protected
She converted Vegeta into a loving husband and lord Beerus into a caring uncle. She could have been in the tournament of power and solo’ed everyone by simply making a family out of everyone.
Bulma has a way of making the people around her more caring and compassionate. If she can make Vegeta become nicer, she can make anyone become more chill.
I just realized he is smiling because he didn't want bulma and the others to die that's why he said (looks like everything turned out alright and smiled)
@@darndang6050 it can play a part in it since it takes energy to accelerate the process and the cells absorbs that. When u talk to your water you are adding your energy into it changing it's structure.how do u think holy water works? This is simple metaphysics.
I mean, other than other Gods of Destructions and Angels, who else could he talk to and hang out with. He finally has friends, even if he himself doesn't consider them as such, because even Whis is basically contracted to be along side him. Hopefully nothing makes Beerus have to turn on them, for that may be the time Beerus shows hesitation and sadness in what he has to do.
Imagine being Bulla. Your father is a prince, your older brother is a half blood saiyan, you know a god of Destruction, you're also friends with one of the strongest mortals in the 7th universe, your babysitter is an alien, you've got connections with warriors from different parts of the world (maybe universe.) I think it's safe to say that Bulla is well guarded.
This comment just made me realize that Bulma let Vegeta play knick knack paddywhack with her paddycakes _while_ he was, at best, apathetic towards Earth and possibly Bulma herself. She either knows how to gamble, or she's a master card-counter.
@@Socioromanticism I mean she didn't love vegeta either to began with. They got together out of loneliness. It was suppose to just be a one night stand.
it's interesting how Beerus often treats everyone at different levels of respect. Goku and Vegeta look up to him, so he demands more respect from them. Bulma from second one treated him as just one of Vegeta's friends so he's more respectful to her. Whis treats him as the grown up kid he is, so he listens to every thing he says all the time
Just because she gave him a baby as she and everyone else go to a cold continent to get a dragon ball doesnt mean she was thinking about all this. Yall always wanna make something out of nothing
The most striking thing to me about this is that Beerus clearly moved from before. Not only that, he put Bulla into her carrier, took her to the beach, took her back out and lay her on his chest, *willingly.* He's a big softie 🤣❤
The safest baby in the world protected by: -The richest and most intelligent lady on Earth -The strongest man in the Universe -The 2nd strongest man in the Universe -The strongest bookworm in the Universe -The strongest Namekian in the Universe -The strongest policeman in the World -The strongest geezer in the World -The strongest monk in the World -The strongest baseball player in the World -The strongest toddlers in the World -Bubblegum monster owned by World Martial Arts champion -A literal guardian Angel -A literal Godfather of destruction -Real super heroes Ain't no one fuckin around with Bulla
im an uncle too. my nephew is only at my place every few weeks or so, and when he is i just play videogames with him and order pizza. he thinks im the coolest guy on the planet. XD i love that little weido^^
I can't help but think that beerus is just happy to be accepted. Look at his life before them. He was feared, everwhere. He gets there and except for Vegeta originally, everyone treated him like he was one of the gang. The fact that bulma straight up trusts him with her daughter is probably the most acceptance and trust he's gotten in millenia, so he's happy with it.
One of the many reasons I love Beerus. He’s not really a bad guy, nor good. He just destroy things that makes him mad. Yet, he love the little things that life has to offer.
Beerus is an immortal who has been around for Zeno only knows how many millennia. Kinda makes sense that the little things are what he would appreciate.
@@elgordobondiola yea he is he asked piccolo how did he take care of goku’s son and piccolo said just throw him off a cliff seems like beerus is doing great parenting.
To be fair, beerus is SUPER old, so this is probably the first time he's interacted with a baby in a long time, so its like a new experience, and generally everyone tends to grow attached to babies
Fights are cool and all, but moments like these are why I love and keep coming back to Dragon Ball. I would watch a whole movie with no villain, no threat, just a collection of slice-of-life vignettes.
we cannot ignore the fact that, none of those toys and cribs are there when they left. Meaning, Beerus himself got all those things to take to the beach for her. Goodness, that is some good character development
Just picturing him getting up and getting the stuff like a normal person and bringing them to the beach while carefully carrying her makes me laugh and smile
Imagine entrusting your baby to a guy who not too long ago was blowing up entire planets just because he didn't like their food. It just goes to show how much Beerus changed in such a relatively short time.
Beerus *considering* going to handle Broly is one of my favorite story beats in the movie. He doesn't verbally state his worry or intentions, but it's pretty clear even his genuine concern for people he actually tolerates isn't strong enough to get him to get off his ass and do anything. Also, Beerus is the exact kind of opponent that would fold Broly, even ignoring that Beerus is infinitely more powerful. Almost as perceptive as Whis in battle but infinitely less patient. Perfect for a raging berserker like Broly.
Not to overanalyze and be overdramatic here, but I love how someone as powerful, apathetic, and destructive as Lord Beerus is shown to care for someone as weak, defenseless, and peaceful as Bulla. The way Beerus and Bulla contrast each other in this scene is really well done
@@sitsia3808 no he wouldn't also the chances of it working are low also think about the babies and kids he has killed in the million of different planets he has destroyed and hasn't batted an eye also he would destroy bulla if he got mad he dosen't care
Can we all appreciate how lucky bulla is? She is the daughter of the richest family in the world, her father is the prince of the most powerful warrior race( now extinct), her brother is already a super saiyan with potential, her uncle 1 is probably the strongest mortal (goku), uncle 2 is a literal god of destruction! Man! She damn lucky! Talk about diverse!
Bulma's been dealing with people strong enough to level mountains since she was 16. Said youngest Child's father tried to blow up earth once himself. She's just used to this stuff by now.
@@west20087 He's Vegeta so he doesn't need to work to bring food on the table. Bulma already aware of what she's getting into, besides Bulma has everything in terms of money/materials. Vegeta's job is to satisfy Bulma in bed, protect his family and Earth.
Beerus is such an incredible and well rounded character. Like it's crazy how effortlessly, and naturally they can make him switch from destroyer to fun loving uncle and still make it convincing.
I think it’s more like Bulma’s passive-aggressive way of saying, “If you’re not going to help us, the least you can do is get off your lazy butt and watch my kid for me.”
It’s not that Beerus hates humanity, it’s just his job: To destroy that which is deemed worthless to make way for the new. However, over time, he’s learned through Goku and company that there truly is more to humanity than appearances would suggest. That there’s so much more they can be. And that’s why I think they’re slowly but surely growing on him.
I love that we get to see how beerus is coming to love the earth more and more. It could make it all the more dramatic if there's a forced destruction arc down the line related to his promise to destroy it
Nail on the head. I just love how soft and badass Whis is and I love how Beerus this planet destroying God has low key come to fall in love with Earth, whether he cares to admit it or not lol.
@@titanhades4331 I mean the Baby saga and a few moments in the Shadow Dragon saga aside GT was also a shitshow, both shows had good ideas here and there but executed them like shit But yeah Beerus and Whis are the only things from DBS I don't want to see gone from the canon (UI is fine too I guess)
Beerus:whis what's in my agenda for today Whis: you have a planet to destroy at 2 pm and bulla needs a piggy back ride at 3. Beerus:the planet can wait summon the child whis .
I appreciate that Beerus is slowly becoming humanized thanks to the Z fighters. He's less of a hard-ass and more relaxed. He's still Beerus sometimes, but it's refreshing y'know?
That baby has the powers of an activated super saiyan gene, a royal saiyan blue father, a mother with world shattering intelligence and engineering skills, the god of destruction as her nanny, and the universe's strongest fighters as her family friends. That child could get shot in the face and even if it reached (it wouldn't) she'd be fine. Safest. Baby. Ever.
@@gogetathestrongestfusion I think Bulla won't have a hard time reaching blue half sayians can do it since she was born after Vegeta reached SSB he's highest form at that time casing point Goten n Trunks achieved SSJ easy
Bulma really has a habit of adopting men who have canonically destroyed entire planets (as well as millions or even billions of people) into her family.
@@renamon303 This isn't questioning his strength or how powerful he is, this is more about what he'd be willing to do for bulla the opportunity arrived, that's what shows who's the better person.
I don't think Beerus has beat up a 5 year old. Then again, I haven't seen og Dragonball but i don't think our Piccolo has killed billions of infants so...
@@cassieriesch1947 I just don't like what they've done with Goku. He barely cares about his family and they portray him as a Goof who likes to do nothing but fight. When he used to be Goofy yeah, but also serious and wanted to be stronger and stronger to protect his family. Now he couldn't care less as long as he's in a fight.
"Beerus observes and detect the ki of Goku,Vegeta,Gogeta,Broly" "Beerus despite sensing high levels of ki, still is calm and chilling" Some DBS Fans: Yeah Goku surpasses Beerus Edit: I just started a war, also recently the author himself said Beerus is still stronger than Goku so yeah that's that
It's stated in the Manga that UI Goku is weaker than Beerus so I don't know what all the fuss is about Edit: Please don't look further into the comment section if you don't want to witness absolute chaos.
It’s funny to think that barring a few exceptions, the vast majority of Goku’s friends started off as villains, or at very least rivals. Just in the last two DBS movies, it’s been fun seeing how far Beerus has come since Battle of Gods, with “Uncle Beerus” here, and in Super Hero, where he takes a liking to Cheelai, lets them live on his planet, and even offers to share some of his ice cream with Broly. Then you’ve got Piccolo and Vegeta, who may be two of the most well-developed characters in the entire franchise.
Apart from Roshi and Chichi I think everyone of Goku's friends fought him first. Even Bulma who used a car AND a gun. Krillin was at least antagonistic. I don't remember their first meeting to too well.
If you notice the area where Beerus is napping at the end is different than the beginning because he went somewhere else to follow the battles energy and he took bulla and her car seat with them. The strongest of warriors become babysitters just like piccolo
He senses Energy just as good at any one point the same as in theres no waning energy any less distance between himself and the place hes at currently is just to relax and vibe
Can we just have a moment to appreciate the character growth of Beerus there. I'm not a fan of everything Super did but I've got to say I'm still a huge fan of Beerus.
bullas dad is one of the strongest mortals in any universe, her uncle goku IS the strongest mortal of any universe, her other uncle is literally the strongest god of destruction. rip bullas future bf
i heard a few of the other gods of destruction are stronger? heard that fish looking one is the strongest and is the only one that actively works out and trains
@@CloudHiro there was a fight between all the gods and they all ganged up on beerus but beerus was beating all they asses until the grand priest stopped them. i’m pretty sure it’s either in the manga or light novel
@@lil.luffy_vert isnt that he was stronger than them its that he was the only one who could use ultra instinct. not necessarily stronger by any means since beings have been able to beat ultra instinct. just able to react better.
Beerus realises the advantages of mastering Uncle form. It's like Dad form with none of the limitations. A fitting technique for the god of destruction.
I want to see how Beerus handled babysitting. Like a whole episode devoted to what the feck happened with him and Bulla while everything else in the movie occurred. Adventures in babysitting with Lord Beerus
Beerus: Hmm. Guess everything turned out all right. Bulla: Ha.... ha... Beerus: You about you say your first word? Bulla: Ha... hakai! Beerus: WHA- *gets erased*
Beerus is getting ready for retirement, and vegeta might take up his mantle. It's only right that if and when vegeta takes beerus' job as destroyer, beerus takes vegeta's job as trainer/babysitter. Would absolutely love to see beerus getting possessive over bulla :D
As a hobby I could even see the previous god of destruction going to transformation school. (The same place Puar and Oolang went in DB) Afterwards he could transform into an actual house cat and live at the Brief’s place.
@@WaveForceful replacement. the whole point of teaching vegeta to use the power of destruction is so that beerus has a replacement so if anything does happen to him the universe still has a god of destruction. same reason why belmod was training toppo.
