Before the war, the Kages said that the generation of Naruto grew up in peaceful times compared to Kakashi's generation and that they're not going to be able to fight in the war but they were the ones doing the most fighting. It's going to be the same thing with this generation too. We already got a glimpse of it in the first episode.

17:50 I think the reason Sarada felt dizzy in that scene is because she used sharingan and shadow clone jutsu at the same time. Both shadow clone and sharingan use a lot of chakra so she used too much chakra.

The main cast from OG naruto also knew those techniques already when they were at the academy... the new ones are only very slightly ahead because their current parents have more time for them in times of peace... But to be fair the school is probably teaching more of the "advanced" chakra control as basics too now... The problem is that the cast we followed for the first few episodes of the OG show were sazuke, naruto and sakura... None of them had parents to actually teach them all that at home (which worked to teach us the basics, but boruto does not need that)... Sazuke only knew the fireball jutsu and the kunai and shuriken skills. Same for naruto, he had no one to teach him any of that at home since both parents of both of them died to early to teach them... and sakura is just sakura... ok, her parents had never shown any inclination to teach her anything about ninjas... All the other kids did have their parents and they were proud of their clans techniques so they did teach them... we just never saw them use them because they only appeared for real in the show by the time of the chunnin exams. But just as kakashi's kids the other teachers also thought their kids were ready to take on the chunin exams that early... remember even guy didn't think his kids were ready the first year and only brought them to the exam by their second year (which is why they did the exam together even thou they were one year older)...

No.. Sasuke had the sharingan actived before he joined team7, when young Sasuke found his parents dead and Itachi telling him that's when he activates the sharingan and than faints but he doesn't remember (only Itachi saw the sharingan activated) untill the mission when Sasuke saved Naruto from Haku attacks . Sarada also activates her sharingan in earlier age (Sasuke and Sakura few others know that )but Sarada had no idea , after meeting Sasuke she learnt.

Shadow clones use up a lot of Chakra. Also Sarada does not have sakuras Chakra control yet it seems. I think that's why she passed out.

So I honestly didn't like Sarada upon first watch. Still on the fence now. But it has occurred to me why her Sharingan seems weaker right now compared to every other Uchiha, including Part 1 Sasuke. She's the first Uchiha we've seen start out with only one tomoe. All the other Uchihas I'm pretty sure always started out with at least two already. Even 7-year-old Sasuke during the massacre awakened two-tomoe Sharingan right off the bat.
