In this episode, we will show you all of our dad's, (Uncle Jimmy) dutch ovens. I think he has a few. I hope you enjoy. Please excuse the background noise. Produced with CyberLink PowerDirector 21
❤️❤️❤️ OMG I have the same pot y'all just pulled out that fits in the stove. I became a cast iron junkie and ended up with over 200 pcs. Unfortunately had to move and the spiders were the first to go. Cast iron is amazing and will last forever if you take care if it. I love that custom made divided one never seen one like that. I'll keep my eyes open for y'all.
I'm 66 and searched for years for Lodge 18" or 20" camp oven. Susposed to have been made up until the 1920s on their old sales catalog. I bought a Cabelas 20" camp oven with lid several years ago, has its logo on lid. I've cooked several times for large Scout feeds. Once cooked 14 chickens at one time. Like your dad, i have to get one of my sons to tote it now, weighs 63 lbs empty.
What's a bell? 😊 y'all really got your exercise gathering and stacking all those pots! Thanks for sharing, but I gotta say... it's too hot for a campfire right now!
An old man I knew had a camp oven you could fit a turkey in when potatoes pumpkin and sweet potato it was huge I wish I knew what happened to it it was an oval shape
Not too sure what brand it was my mates old man got it when he was working on a bush gang back in the 50s land clearing it was the cooks oven when the contract was finished he went home and ended up with the camp oven recently he has passed and I've been trying to find out what happened to the oven because I've never seen anything like it it was definitely older than the 50s it was Oval shape in the lead only had about 1/2 inch step down for Coals you could fit two legs of lamb and veggies no worries or turkey and veggies
