This was one of my dads favorite songs. Sadly he passed in 2016 and I like coming back and listening to this once in awhile when I’m thinking of him. Thanks for giving me those memories. Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there 💙
My husband was driving the red Posse Truck...Passed in 2010! These days are gone by but still dear to the hearts of Hale, Michigan and Long Lake. A special time in all our lives...💞
I love how this song isnt just about a lover or a best friend or a family member. It can be about whoever you want it to be about. We need more songs like that
Best crossover song to peak in the 2010's. Reached #6 on the Billboard country singles chart in the late summer of 2010. Should have been a #1 country and pop Hot 100 that year for Uncle Kracker. "Smile" is a timeless classic.
My husband dedicated this song to me back when we were kids. 10 years later and now we’re going on 5 years married with two beautiful kids. I will never forget those butterflies I had (and still get) when I would see him in high school. Best times 💞
The simplicity of this song is what makes me love it so much. Just feeling your face light up when you see them and theirs light up when they see you. This song is perfection.
This song found me right after my sister died. It meant so much, exactly how i felt for her. Then the more i listened to it, it had a positive meaning about my grandkids. Great song thank you. Its helped me alot😃❤
@@dillpickle7358 yeah youre right songs nowadays are not meaningful like the old ones, theyre like trash even the artist with a good lyrics writing skills is adjusting with what is trending right now, just like Jason Derulo with his song Savage Love
There’s always quality music being published. Only amateurs rely on mainstream media to provide them “quality” music. 😂😛 Real singers and musicians are constantly making wonderful music though. 🌸
i know this a “love” song, but when i was little, like 5 or 6, my dad used to play this song when he would chase me around the house laughing. they were such a good memories that now, as i’m older, it makes me cry. my parents have been divorced since i was 11, so from then, i would only see him every other weekend and we just aren’t close anymore. so now the memories of us being so happy and being so close with each other makes me sad reminiscing :(
Thanks so much , if you dont mind i would like to know a true fan better so kindly drop your number in my mail so i can text you and get to know you much better. shafarmattew@gmail.com
Jenna remember the good times please as a Dad that use to chase my kids around the house backyard or taking a nice Sunday drive we would enjoy the time & memories. My kids do not even speak to me. I jave tried everything. Just know your dad loves you forever that will never change. Try to reach out to him trust me he needs you in his life to make him smile again! God Bless! Huge hugs
This is my husband and my song. We were over 3000 miles apart when we met online. From best friends and inside jokes to husband and wife, and going on three years married and laughing with each other every day. We have survived the death of my mum, financial hardship, and becoming a beautifully blended family. When life gets too hard, one of us sends the other the link to this song, and it brings us back to where we can smile and make it through some of the hardest challenges a couple can face, stronger and more trusting than before. Thank you Uncle Kracker for writing, recording and sharing this song with us. Thank you for giving us something to bring us back when happiness seems impossible to see.
Heard this song playing on the radio while doing my grocery shopping this week and it literally made me smile ! I hadn’t heard it in like a decade, but I used to listen to it so much that I realized I still knew all the lyrics by heart.
My teacher used to play this for us when we had free time. She made all those kids sing this song at the end of the day and outside of school. This song will forever make my day and make me remember her.
My grandma and I this was our song we listened to it all the time. We lost her early last year and every time I listen to this song I smile and just remember all the great times we had listening to this song. It’s one of the little things that mean just so much to me.
I remember being a little girl, sitting in my grandpa’s truck with my Uncle driving and singing this song to me ❤️ the memories that are attached to this song is amazing. What I would give to go back to those days
This is one of those songs that is timeless. I actually showed this to my fiance last week and told her that every time I'm with her and think about her this song plays in my head.
Oh my goodness, this song brings back memories from a small town I used to live in. I had to move away but that little town will forever hold a place in my heart.
one of the best moments a had with someone very special... well, I was at an Uncle Kracker concert and I was with my grandma, she was very special to me because she would always take care of me, but it was around 10:00 and I was really young so I was tired and this song was playing as I lay in my grandma's arms, feeling the safest I've ever felt still to this day... Now my grandma's gone and listening to this song reminds me if being in her arms again.. it makes me feel safe...
Brilliant! I've recently told someone this song makes me feel all that when I see him, and he was very moved by this. Best of luck meeting the Right One! But if she doesn't like this song, keep looking ;)
This song takes me to a place I can't describe. Its a place frozen in time where everything was perfect. Listening to it calms me down and gives me a break from this crazy life. This song is a memory put to a beat.
This song came out when my son was just a baby and it always made me think of him because i was a stay at home to him. Now, I'm a widow, divorced, and he is autistic. He is my reason for waking up every morning. I miss my first husband and the life we used to have so much. I miss my little boy needing me like he used to.
Im soo sorry for the loss of your first husband, he's watching and looking after you and your son. I pray that God gives you the strength and grace that you need to keep enduring and pushing forward. I wish and pray nothing but the best for you and your son, God bless you both ❤❤❤❤✌🕊🕊🕊
My uncle died from cancer and he loved this song so it reminds me of him. He would play this every time I was at his house. He always told me and my cousins ,for pictures or whenever we saw him to smile and then he would say oh you make me smile.
I always ,always ended up crying when I hear this song and watch the video!!!..... is like it transport you to a land of complete happiness and sweetness!!! 😃♥️ Thank you Uncle Kracker for making me smile!!!! ♥️😃😘
I was reading a text from my daughter that I just reconnected with after 20 yrs, I realized that I was smiling and this song came to mind. So thankful for my daughter.
this song is so heart whelming for me, it reminds me of my childhood days, the days with no problems no pressure, you just want to play some music and play whenever you want

[Verse 1] You're better than the best I'm lucky just to linger in your light Cooler than the flip-side of my pillow, that's right Completely unaware Nothing can compare to where you send me It lets me know that it's okay (Yeah, it's okay) And the moments when my good times start to fade [Chorus] You make me smile like the sun Fall outta bed Sing like a bird Dizzy in my head Spin like a record Crazy on a Sunday night You make me dance like a fool Forget how to breathe Shine like gold Buzz like a bee Just the thought of you can drive me wild Oh, you make me smile [Verse 2] Even when you're gone Somehow you come along Just like a flower poking through the sidewalk crack And just like that You steal away the rain And just like that [Chorus] You make me smile like the sun Fall outta bed Sing like a bird Dizzy in my head Spin like a record Crazy on a Sunday night You make me dance like a fool Forget how to breathe Shine like gold Buzz like a bee Just the thought of you can drive me wild Oh, you make me smile [Bridge] Don't know how I live without you Cause every time that I get around you I see the best of me inside your eyes You make me smile [Pre-Chorus] You make me dance like a fool Forget how to breathe Shine like gold Buzz like a bee Just the thought of you can drive me wild Oh, you make me smile [Chorus] You make me smile like the sun Fall outta bed Sing like a bird Dizzy in my head Spin like a record Crazy on a Sunday night You make me dance like a fool Forget how to breathe Shine like gold Buzz like a bee Just the thought of you can drive me wild Oh, you make me smile

In the middle of 2021. STILL with a smile on my face when I hear this song. Don't ever let life get you down. Live life to the fullest. And love every bit of it! Hope everyone of you have an amazing year now that the bs Corona is coming to an end. It's time to resume our normal lives. 😉😁🤑
Through God this song keeps a SMILE 😊 on my Face and in my heart ❤️ LIFE, itself makes me SMILE 😊 daily and this song is a very good example of appreciation of Life
My oldest daughter is 13 (almost 14) and is absolutely obsessed with this song, my wife and I played this at our wedding 14 years ago, and it still amazes me to hear this song in my family for so long.
Such a beautiful song I wish my husband were still alive. Cause I didn't hear a bunker cracker until about 2 years ago and I'm 63 and now I listen to his music all the time. I wonder if my husband knew this.
More than 8 years of being in a relationship but even after all the fights, this song still brings us back and reminds us of how close we used to be and how happy things were.. It's like our magic song.
