I did a 2 night stay at the Conrad Nashville newer property- highly recommend. just 2 of us no kid on that trip , I asked about possibly getting a corner room before arrival and upon arrival they said we gave you a corner suite . it was massive and just a crazy nice room best upgrade I've gotten with Diamond

I guess I'm on a diamond upgrade win streak. 2of my last 3 Hilton stays have been upgraded. Hilton Anatole in Dallas from a standard king room to tower corner suite And Hilton Galveston Island resort standard king to the Chairmans suite. All where points stays.

Bought max points and booked Conrad Tokyo. Stayed at Conrad Osaka last year (phenomenal experience). Can’t wait for Tokyo stay in October. We also have Conrad stay in Singapore for Christmas. Hilton is king! Every other hotel brand is fighting for second place. I said what I said. Great video Uncle Luke.

Tested the new DD credit and it is exceeding expectations. If you have a pickup spot (Dashmart, grocery store) and can find discounts, the $10 Doordash credit is worth at least $8. In practice, we can definitely get at least $240 in value from all the monthly credits on the CSR. The DD credits are good enough that I think the CSR / CSP have "effective" annual fees closer to 0 now.

I have Diamond status with Hilton via the Aspire card. So far, I've only stayed at two Hiltons but I got room upgrades on both and one of them was a huge suite. I always make a point to be very friendly with the staff but hard to say how much of a difference that makes.

@LukesPointsandMiles First was during mid winter break of this year (a very busy time). Was with my P2 and two kids. Stayed at the Hawaiian village in Honolulu. Called the day before to check in and the spent several minutes going over a few options for room upgrades until I was happy with the room. They were happy to provide a rollaway bed. 2nd stay was a couple months later. Just stayed at a local hotel to get away for the night with just me and the P2. Paid cash for a basic room and got upgraded to their biggest suite. I think the fact that we went on a random Friday night made a big difference. They also provided a nice welcome gift as we were celebrating an anniversary. My loyalty is solidified at least for now.

@@joephillips5594 man I booked the Hawaiian village last year for 10 days and when I first got there they gave me the worst room I’ve ever seen. I went back to the desk and said “hey, I’m not staying here if that’s what you have”.

Yes, refresh biz green. But leave consumer green alone…except lounge buddy credit is whack. I’d suggest something else but Amex has no choice but to commit further trying to get value from it.

Zagreb, Croatia, and Bucharest, Romania Hilton Garden Inns this summer gave me awesome breakfasts, even though I am a lowly Gold. Maui Waldorf Astoria gave us $50 daily, which we used at Loulu.

I am always curious how much data the front desk employees can see about customers. Like can they tell youre a Diamond via credit card and have three stays this year, vs. the guy next to you who has 100 stays? I know with American Airlines if two customers have the same status, they look at your loyalty points to see who gets the upgrade, wouldn't be surprised if hotels also do this.

@@Bcelos182 I think they have access to a lot of data but if I’m perfectly honest I think that person at the desk offers upgrades based on what they personally want to do. So all biases and prejudice applies.

My issue with hilton points is that I hardly find properties where I can redeem for more than 0.5 cents. I know the benefit of the 5 night, but I never stay 5 nights in a single place.
