This clean efficient wood fired kiln made out of junk is one of the better ideas for Rocket Heater Technology that I've had the privilege of supporting. My fearless crew of ceramicist Lisa Orr and all around mechanical genius Rodney Morgan have joined me at the 2023 NCECA ceramics in Cincinnati where Lisa wrangled us a spot to demonstrate our kiln to dozens of interested potters who all seem to have a junk kiln or three hanging around that they would love to see burning cheap scrap wood to make fine pottery.
