Oh, Waffles is a great representative of Southern African culture in music. I vouch for her always. Adding on to the new hot single, "Wa di busa", Waffles nailed the performances and the visuals of the phrase. hmm... lots of eye candy in that video. ;) As a Southern-Sesotho man, with second-generation roots from Lesotho, 'Oa li busa', is how we would formally write it, although commonly written/pronounced 'Wa di busa' in modern society. It is a phrase that is popular in South African indigenous tribes who communicate in languanges, mainly, Sesotho, Sepedi and Setswana. All three of these vernac are +/-90% the same by the way. "Wa di busa" is slang, for giving a compliment, or making a flattering remark for when you would experess it in English as, "You rock", "You are dope", You bring the vibe", "You are lit".... Just to share my 2 cents. :) Uncles we love you, keep growing and we are looking forward to more of your material. Godspeed. Peace.
