When I watch yall's videos, I'm not judging anything you do. I enjoy it. My opinion is that you two have been doing this way longer than I have. (Me: 0 times) And I have fun watching. I'm not picking apart every move you make. I love it when you post videos. I thank you for the entertainment! 😊❤ I just wanted you to know.
Wish they pay you all for cleaning debris,so no flooded roads. The road crew,or city or whoever. You are super workers and Caring. Thanks sharing all your journeys. Great Job Ladies. They should pay you for your services, my cell left that out above.
Maybe set the exit camera closer to the culverts so mum doesnt feel she has to run to show us the output? Great job ladies, Jen you put in a shift today, its like your new waders give you super powers 😊💪🏼😊
There you are. You don’t know me, but am an avid fan of this channel and look forward to seeing your beautiful “Aloha” in the comments. Just know that you make someone you have never met and lives in New York, smile with one simple word. ❤
I was thinking boy they could be doing the Lumberwomen's log dance on that log there, take care! Overall, your water looks incredibly very very clear so great that you are able to help it be healthy, water that moves, is healthy!
Kimberly needed her waders today! I was wondering if you ever used a shovel and you answered that question for me today. Keep up the excellent work ladies!
Jen, I can’t wait to see you man handle a big log like we know you can!!! If you would position your body more strategically and use the tops of your arms and more legs, instead of trying to use your arms while extended and your back, you’d be a BEAST and wouldn’t need mom for big ones like that. Love watching!!! Keep up the hard work!
Love you guys! Great job as always and thank you for sharing your hard work! Happy to get whatever videos we can… I’ve watched almost all of them at this point! It’s a great way to fall asleep to your voices and the water noises
Worth considering, it's not jsut what is directly blocking the culvert entrance (and inside) that affects water volume, but also blockages around the culvert. For instance, the one near the start with all the mud in front of it has a small sand bar built up on one side that is restricting water flow from one side, digging that sand out should increase the flow significantly.
If you are going to keep doing the dangerous stuff we're going to have to donate some snorkel mask so if you fall you will still be able to breathe! Jen you were scaring me on a couple of those culverts! Or shoot get you the whole dive outfit so you will be extra safe!! I know some of your videos were filmed a while ago but it will be snake season so be extra careful 💜🐸
He actually cross country traveling and while doing that if he comes to culverts he tackles em cause we'll that's Post10 the GOAT the original Culvert cleaner
Get youselves a length of strong rope. Wrap it around some of those logs and the both of you might be able to drag on some of those bigger logs to move them out of the way. What you're doing is better than spending $20-$30 per mont at the gym. Good excercise.!
Whilst watching, I pictured this scene - employed workers(EW) vs Jen and Mon. EW boss "OK lads that culvert has a thumping big tree blocking it, I need you to go in and get it". Worker "But boss, you know if the water at the culvert is more than an inch deep we are not allowed to go in - Health and Safety Boss" Boss "Yeah. Ok lets leave this massive flood to get worse and go get some coffee." Jen and Mom. Jen "I am going in mom." Mom thinks to herself 'if my pretty little Jen goes to far she may get sucked in - Oh gosh!!' "Be careful Jen." Jen thinks to herself 'I got these pretty Green waders and I am gonna use them' "OK mom." Jen - A lot of heaving and grunting and some fierce looks later "Mom if you can hold that end (of this massive piece of wood some would call a fallen tree) I can maybe get it on top of the culvert." Mom "OK Jen. Argggh I got water in my boot!!!!" Jen thinking to herself 'ha! you shoulda worn your waders Mom oh my beloved Mom' Not only did you girls clear the wood and massive pieces to boot but Jen goes walk-about in the raging stream!! I expected you to sing along the lines I got waders and gonna wade, I got waders and gonna wade. You both deserved a coffee after that challenge girls. Well done.
Jen without that guarantee, you're doing. You know how some of those Tennis players when they hit the ball they go. Grant grant grant. That's what you sound like when you're trying to move that out from in front of the cold heart. It's pretty funny
I have seen polarized lens filters could see through the water surface. Maybe you could get a lens or glasses to see better. People use them to watch fish.
Several times ive seen ya'll at this same crossing, good job keeping it mostly off the road and no washouts except for dozer damage to plastic pipes and nothing a mini-saw cant help clean up !
could be. we think that after a while our mics get water and dust in them and they start shorting out. we have started changing them out every now and then.
Dear great ladies good morning love some time Back I suggest u to use s pitch up not new one it will help u To pull big logs n that is the right professional way I hope Now will under stand better Thks best rgds rafiq canada
Thank you once again for your awesome video. One thing I would think is you should sleep well at night😂😂😂😂❤❤. Lost your voices, now they are back.😮😮. Your voice is gone.
Wow, that was alot of work done ! Great job in the fast flowing water and with those heavy logs ! Is the water cold like water in a fridge ? (I'm from the Caribbean, we don't get snow and cold temps)
it wasn't too bad. hands get the coldest but we powered through. it doesn't get too awful bad cold weather wise in Oklahoma either but we would prefer to be where you are!😂
When they pull the rake up with all debris, why not throw the debris in a pile on the land. Almost every channel they just let the debris flow with the water, to me, common sense would say that debris may start to flow but it will just clog another spot. Only one channel actually pulls the majority of the debris out of the water.
The banks of our rivers get flooded a lot. It would end up right back in front of the culvert anyway if we left it to the side. In rural country like this it will be miles and miles between culverts. We aren’t really worried about the next one getting clogged.
@@myturn9431 what really needs to be accomplished with that muddy culvert is to channel river water to it in order to build pressure to remove loose "blockage and debris" in the pipe
Please take some time to set up an exit camera at the culvert you're working on. Running across the street is not the same. Put both cameras on a tripod because camera skills are terrible.
It’s 1 thing to provide feedback but to tell someone they’re doing something “terrible” that you aren’t doing is comical. If you feel like you can do it better, start your own RU-vid channel and do it! Until then rest your fingers Keyboard Karen!
we completely understand cause we love to have an exit camera as well. sometimes it just isn't possible due to a variety of reasons. sometimes we do sit down the camera but this is another case of we can't please everyone. some people like the close up shots and some people like the far away shots. we try to do a variety of both. thanks for watching!
sorry but we don't really have the luxury of being at a culvert to watch it drain for 20 minutes. most people are going to find just watching something drain boring so then we would only be able to use maybe 5 minutes of that footage. that means less culverts done that day. we try to please everyone but it's not always a possibility.
we would love to be able to do what he does. since he only has the channel for income he can go out every day and do culverts. we only get to go out once a week. maybe someday.
@@culvertsandmorehonestly he’s moved to other things so much that he really doesn’t offer what you do anymore. You’re rocking things! We appreciate you!
