I’m always amazed at how much water the beaver dams can hold back. Post 10 keeps the waterways clear of debris and keeps the water flowing like it should.

Hey post, something I've found quite nice on your videos (that also is sad that you have to do) is the watermarks, their placement always seems to be thought out of "most in view yet least distracting", and for that I give you some mega props.

I can see it now. There's a guy downstream who enjoys a nice toddy or cold one by the stream in his back yard. He's been moving his picnic table a little more down the bank each day as the flow decreases, and then one day.....POW!! You've just been Post 10'ed, pal.

You should look into buying a "PIKE POLL" like we use in the Fire Dept. The come in long pole or a smaller one with a handle. The tool is used to bring down ceilings and have a point and a hook. Very sturdy and I think it would help you tremendously

They'll sneak up on you underwater and when you're looking away come up and hit the water with their tail. It makes a big smack sound and a spray of water. Scares the bejeebers out of you.

Haha had to turn the volume down with the raging water. I wonder if you've contacted the people who keep this area safe. Maybe this video can be used to help secure funding for a better newer dam. Maybe make a triangle like in the previous videos or something more innovative to help stop the dams

Seems some water was already going over the dam into the stream. Was the dam causing flooding somewhere? Why not let the beaver have its pond (or at least part of it) until after winter?
