I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

In my area of the world they're trial reintroducing Beavers to clog things up on higher ground to help prevent lowland flooding, which is a major problem in the UK.Suprising considering we have a hose pipe ban at the moment from the crazy dry spring n summer we've just had.

They’re also reintroducing them in some areas of Northern California to bolster the water tables.

I made two edits, I HOPE you read them, it would mean so much to me Post.. The beaver lake! Beautiful place out there! Good to see you back here again, Post 😃 Edit, when you talked about the clear water, you could also super clearly see the sand dam the beavers make before each dam they build, people mostly don't know about that fact, maybe something/topic to talk about?? Because it isn't visual for everyone, but it is super typical for beaver's.. Edit2, You know what... How you started the video with the flowing water.. a 1 hour video of that? Yes Please! And another one is, you walking through the forest... I miss that So Horribly..... I am disabled and my refugee place to wind down from life, before my disability, it was my getaway.. my get back on track place.. I miss it so much (litteraly in tears now.. sorry..) but can you please make video like that? Just silence but walking around like you did at the end, bushwacking and all.. You would make one person truly So Happy!

Great video as always Post. I live in B.C. and really wish we had some water. Haven't had any rain since late May. Our salmon spawning streams have totally dried up. Tens of thousands of salmon have died before spawning which means no salmon for next year. It is terrible to see 85,000 dead salmon lying on dry rocks. Please send us some rain because there is absolutely no rain in our future. We are at drought level 5 which is the highest ever. PS We also have Beaver Lake and Elk Lake! LOL

If the droughts become consistent, the pine forests may end up becoming meadows or thickets. Possibly deep-rooted trees growing in, that can withstand the dry times, like maples.

And yeah, hear ya on the rain down here in Texas, maybe get a good 2 inches every 2 months, back on burn bans again and crunchy grass. Leaves are falling due to the drought. One thing for sure, you don't ever kill weeds...ha ha...😀😄😜Still looks pretty with the water there but yeah, you can tell it's down from where you normally see it from last year and yes on your trees comment. We are also having trees die here with pines (pine beetles and drought) and also Hypoxylon Canker on oak trees as well.

Just think Post, if you stopped the unclogging, the trees would have water, not all of them, but the ones near the water would then have water.......One action leads to a reaction.

Great video. The other information in addition to the unclogging is interesting. Thanks for all your videos. The bird house is a wood duck box. They'll only use it when there is water under the front entrance. I hope you don't fall through, but that would make some great video. I'm thinking something like when Indiana Jones falls into the snake pit in Raiders of the Lost Ark. A room full of snarling beavers. Lol.
