Thank you so much for this video. I thought I was going to have to pay for a repair! I had a further problem: although I pulled out a big piece of filament, there was some more that just wouldn't come out, despite extruder being fully hot and trying both tweezers and pliers. In the end I just plunged in the long thin thing (mine wasn't a flexible needle but it did the job) and pushed it through the extruder: out came a big gooey mess, and all was well.
Are there no other screws? I just received mine a few weeks ago. Tried taking it our with removing those screws but it is seated solid. No wiggle at all, which means its got another screw somewhere that I cannot seating it has some silicate seating it. What do you think?
Did you remove the screws with the alan key? If you used a crosshead screwdriver instead, it was the wrong screws. They're really hard to find. One is on the far left and the other is hidden under wires.
Make sure the screws are the correct ones: if you needed a crosshead screwdriver instead of the alan key, keep looking. They're super well hidden. The one on the right I can't even see; I only found it by pushing the alan key underneath the wires until it connected with something.
