Today we go through the most uncomfortable first dates I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Don't do this please. Also I'm very happy to see that so many of you had first dates (and e-dates i guess). You were probably all lying, though.

Ugh I wish I'd been able to submit for this. Back when Craigslist still did dating, I decided to go on a double date with a guy I'd met on there and my married friends. He showed up in a dirty t-shirt and jeans, we had Fazoli's for dinner (he brought his own half-drank soda), and we went to see the Evil Dead remake; he laughed the entire time. It was HORRIBLE.

my first-and only-“date” (i don’t count it as one) was in my sophomore year of high school & this dude took me to a Jordan’s Furniture store & we walked around looking at furniture & kitchen appliances for 2 hours before I called my dad & bailed out of there. We never went out again after that lmao cus it was really awkward.

If you've just been asked out and aren't really sure but are interested to learn more about a person two hours is really long time...

this is a long one but it’s got a twist my first ‘date’ experience was a double date. i was tagging along with my friend and her then crush and one of his friends. (we’d talked for about 2 weeks by this point). we went to see the new batman movie and afterwards got pizza and sat on a ledge of a path somewhere in london. he gave me his jacket and we held hands on the way to the underground. after the guys got off at their stop me and my friend were so happy. when we got home he asked me out again. a few days and very flirtatious texts later, he proceeded to tell me he had a girlfriend.

My worst “date” is that I threw a birthday party for my ex (yes we were ex’s at the time) at my friends house. No one brought food except for me so my friends mom had to bake a cake. We then watched shrek 2 on RU-vid on 18 parts (each one was 2 min long)

A girl invited me to the community center for a first date (There was a show on, with a series of local artists all getting the chance to perform). The plan was to see the show and get dinner afterwards. When I arrived she was eating McDonalds and ignored me standing there for a full minute. Once we got to the show she was incredibly bored, nearly fell asleep, made fun of me for dropping a napkin at dinner, and then left when I dropped her off without saying goodbye.

I’m pan and have been on a few dates and I’m starting to realize my standards are low lmao I went out with one girl in 8th Grade and she ignored me for a week over a book, still hates me (I’m now a freshman) spread rumors, sexualized me behind my back tried to turn my friends behind my back and dated a close friend of mine thinking I would be mad and got even more upset when I was happy for them

my first date ever was the most horrendous date i have ever witnessed: 1) he basically catfished me and turnt out to be disabled (which isn’t a problem instead for the fact that i had to carry him and take care of his safety AND I HAD ZERO CLUE BCZ I WAS NOT READY AND I WAS GOOGLING EVERYTHING) 2) his mum was calling him all the time and he started calling me “his wife” and started talking about meeting his family and sent her a picture of us where i looked kidnapped. 3) the owner of the restaurant recognized him right away, and while helping me taking care of him he told my date “yes i remember you coming here with that other blonde girl, is she (me) a new one?” 4) he sent me vn of him crying accusing me of being an ableist bcz i didn’t look in love with him?????? (from the FIRST date) 5)he turnt out to be a pdfile and he tried to groom me lmfao 6) oh and he also started planning our next date,,,, a SKI date 😀

Here's my first date ever: it was my first ever tinder date and I really liked him and told my mom (I had just turned 18). Our date plan was a picnic in the park and watching the sunset in his truck's bed. My mom told me to bring a friend to be safe. I told her that was stupid and dumb but that I would share my location with a friend to be safe and end the date once the sun went down. My mom said "if he cares about you enough, he'll go with you to church. INVITE HIM TO BIBLE STUDY." And I did to try and prove a point to my mom............most awkward first date ever: the topic was about MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE. He never messaged me again.

2 stories here- this story is abt my current boyfriend and his ex: they sat in silence the entire date, he ended up texting his bsf (my bsf too) and asked for advice, the other girl was waiting for him to talk, they sat at a cafe in silence for 2 hours, didn’t even order. he just got up and left 💀✋ this one’s abt me- he literally said to me he was dating another girl, and had been for a year. when u broke up with him on the spot he looked shocked and asked why I was breaking up with him. why do you fucking think- 💀✋

Ooh. Dang. Wish I hadn't missed it. Here's mine. We went to the movies and watched Guardians of the Galaxy volume 2 and it was hella good. I had offered to pay for my own ticket and snacks, but he insisted he paid. It was nice. Fun. ... But then, right after the date, his parents said we needed to go to Walmart in order to get my bf's grandpa an enema. He seemed so embarrassed but I didn't judge him. Wasn't his fault. Poor dude. Fact is... He never even liked me. Only dated me for his own personal gains.

I have a one sided friendship with James. I have to admit I feel like this stream was the hardest on him. Half of it was simply SA stories. As a streamer truama dumping isn't okay. I don't think Jim deserved to have a bunch of people truama dump on him since he's just a mid 20s content creator. If you're going to a creator for support after truama rather see a therapist.

3:48 i had a similar experience to this, i was having a sleepover with my friend when we were both like 10 and she got my hamster out of its cage and literally threw it at the wall. he died the next day and the vets said it was from brain injuries. this happened like 4 years ago and my mum doesn't let me have friends over anymore. oh and my "friend" got grounded for months for killing my hamster haha L deserved it

first and only date i’ve ever had was on the last day of 6th grade, we met up after school and they held my sweaty ass hands while we walked to a boba shop, after we got boba we talked for a bit then i made up an exudes to leave ( i wasn’t out at the time and i didn’t want people seeing us together red flag i know) they dumped me 3 days later. moral of the story don’t date people that are moving to texas over the summer :)

on my first date we went rollerblading and i have a condition were my joints randomly pop out of place without hurting but they usually pop back in after a couple of seconds but when we was skating around the rink i was trying to flex my skating skills on him and fell on my side and my hip popped out of place although this time it didnt go back in and it really fucking hurt. Next thing i knew i was in an ambulance and had to stay in the hospital for a week. It was still pretty good though as the guy i was on the date with came to visit me and dropped me off some chocolates (we are still very close friends) and i met some pretty nice people in there to with a whole bunch of stories.
