UNCONVENTIONAL way to Trigger Automations in Home Assistant

@@SmartHomeMakers I think it was because you jumped into using the iPhone so quickly. I only use Android/PC. What would happen if you simply pasted the whole URL into a web browser?

Ok, so a web browsers uses the get method which means it receives content. Here we are sending (post) method. Try downloading postman on pc

So as i understand it, when you send the json with the key and data , you reference the key name in home assistant. Something like data: message: "{{ trigger.json.message }}" With message being the key in the json.

Hey Alex! I would say it is worth it there are many possibilities with Home Assistant and it is improving each month!

@@SmartHomeMakers yes I believe there is the paid Android app called 'Tasker' but apparently it's overly fiddly to use!
