Absolutely would love to see it. Aside from JDM, I would be curious if there’s much to a European car culture. Not Lamborghinis and Ferraris, but more things like Volvos, Mercedes, BMW, etc..😊
@@LifewithSerg things such as Mercedes-Benz, volvo and BMW are super popular here in indonesia, especially the older model such as the E36, W124, 240 and alot more. It doesn't matter what your age is everyone loves old Mercedes-Benz, volvo and BMW over here in indonesia.
The G wagon van version is a special G wagon because it was specially ordered for Radio Republik Indonesia or Radio of the Republic of Indonesia for outdoor live broadcasting from early 80's. Usually, they put big AC on the back for the field announcer's room, and some are still in duty alongside Peugeot J7
If you want to see an even more private collection you might want to try and get in contact with someone named Hauwke. He has loads of G-Wagens and classic cars from 1900s to 1980s. Most of earlier Indonesian presidential cars are also in his collection. He has things like Jaguar E-Type, ZIL 111, 1908 Lorraine, Studebaker Champion, first gen Corvette, and stuff like that. It might not be 100% up your alley since it's not JDM stuff, but it might be worth checking out.
Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Medan, Bali, Makassar, Batam You should come to there place.. There are so many different Car Culture in Indonesia with many of rarest car too
In fact that before the Koenig went to Engine+ shop, few years ago the car got taken care by mechanic that was working for Brunei Royal Family many years ago. Personally my favorite car of all time. ❤️💯
Fyi Theres another shop that specialized in muscle car, they made the engine work verry well about the heat to fit in daily drive in indonesian bad traffic.. hope you visit them too
You never disappoint, but this is another level. I agree the original nsx is better looking. Might be nostalgia fogging my brain. Thanks for the share.
Damn those shops...what a range of proper cars they have...yet again - high quality content and video. 😊 Very awesome cars but my fav. was the purple 930 3.4 litre on the BBS... 23:40
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that's the 1978 512 BB Koenig Ferrari. Beings in an old dog like myself , thank you for this video that car was stunning.❤ Keep up the great. work
brooo you switched the two cars. The white SL with the stepped up BBS RS is an R107 and the green one behind the cover is the W113 Pagoda. Btw still an amazing coverage of my country for which I thank you.... Btw my invites' still valid lol... got an Enzo with your name on it😝
Dino, perhaps you're aware of this, but those darker shots in your videos don't look that good when recorded with the phone, especially when in garages like the ones from this video. I think you use a different camera for your B-rolls, so maybe you could record the engine bays and the interiors (they suffer the most from this issue) with that and insert them, because your cuts are very smooth anyway.
I suggest you to visit "Museum Angkut" (transport museum) in Malang city - East Java province. They have the most complete vehicle collection in Indonesia, from the oldies to the newest era
I've never seen a Mitsu Legnum sedan thank you for sharing that's cool to know it exists. This is one of the coolest countries in the world right now but the religious rules make it so strict.
i didnt know you were so much a lover of porsches. i know the channel is a lot of jdm but if you can find some cool porsche tuners or anything porsche would be awesome. im in love with this channel. not being a jdm guy you go to such cool places. im a promodet and RUF fanboy and that w124 place j-something insane tuned ferrari's. this has really become a wwicked channel. keep up the awesome content d more porsches please. cheers
@@dino_dc oh that'll be awesome but I don't really like cat videos bud stick with cars LOL. I use voice typing and it's always sending f***** up messages
That Koenig special is AMAZING. One of the fastest cars in the word in it's day and it's still fast even by modern super car standards. It looks great!!! Killer condition for it's age. Clearly well kept. LOVE to see/hear it run!!!!! So few of those left in the world. Here is a vid about the koenig BB. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GrJ2M_NnFfY.htmlsi=3hsjHN-9o_8Pb-Bz
U know what’s funny is that GT3RS probably cost twice as much as the nismo gt3 race car cuz of the 200% road tax that GT3RS is about $1million usd Edit: road tax in Indonesia for luxury cars
As always... a beautiful showing of what cars can be if they are obtained and used by the right owners. Thank you. And how tf do you get the contacts for these people
You should check some indonesian diesel scene, because JDM/EDM or imported car in general are expensive in indonesia, many of them can easily reach $1.000.000+, and also due to low minimum salary (average is $400 ish per MONTH). That makes many of indonesian actually prefered to modified Diesel SUV, this scene is very big especially in Surabaya, which is the 2nd biggest city in Indonesia. I'm not asking to actually see depth look at this scene but atleast you need to see how is the "most/average" car culture in Indonesia right now.
