I grew up in ozone park Queens back in the 70's it was the best place to live there was always something good to do and the block party back then where awesome and when the Italian Social Clubs had barbecues and 4th of July the good old days 97-27 Drew st

Moving to Queens for college growing more excited (and a little scared too!) as the date approaches.

Totally unexpected! I came to NYC for the summer and went to Queens only to eat at a Brazilian Restaurant(I'm from Brazil and after a year living in US a miss home a lot, this place Villa Brazil Café & Grill at Queens is excellent), this weekend I'll go there to explore new international food!

Queens is great! I live in Woodside. There's a nice Thai place called Sweet Basil here in Woodside. And The Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria has some great stuff, including props from A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Didn't find out till years later Tom Browne, Lesette Wilson, the late Don Blackman were all from Jamaica where I lived. Somehow I knew there was something hip about Queens

I honestly visited queens a occasionally, one of reasons my friend lives there. Also the fact they accept diversity or NYC in general I wish to respect NYC as a country. But also I value the parks and recreational areas around here. If I have to use the free gym at all costs it will be a Cunningham Park in queens for different elevation and triathlon. I also know they have a different humidity in Queens, for me its like closer to staying in the westchester county in nyc. But queens to also has a Rockway beach which I feel jealous about because I heard its really nice and I know I can see the whale there too. But because its one of 5 boroughs I am making this comic about using the concept of Book of Five Rings in the form of Avatar The Last Air bender still in progress.

DEFINITELY QUEENS HAS A LOT TO OFFER. I live in Jamaica Queens in a nice charming neighborhood , which is the most affordable part of Queens and NYC . There's no parts now in NYC where you can get 2 bedrooms with a lot of spaces for $1400 , $1500 a month. I am able to save every months and now I am part of the upper middle class living here in Jamaica Queens. It would be hard for me to have that social mobility if I was in Manhattan , because it's SO EXPENSIVE.

I'm not from New York but something feels odd about trying to turn someone's neighborhood into a tourist destination. It sounds like this is a gentrification campaign. Lol

No man queens is a bad place let the tourists keep thinking that.
