I’m really enjoying this series Stephanie. Thank you for the time you’re taking to research the blocks. Your block looks great! I see you’ve switched from your bionic arm to a glove. Hope that means it’s feeling better. Take care. See you next time.

Thank you for doing this series. I'm really enjoying this. I used to live in a very old house where there were several hidden rooms in the attic and basement. The local folklore was our house had been part of the underground railroad. I was never able to substantiate but the original builder/owner was known abolishiner and businessman. Thanks again.

As an aussie, I have heard of this railroad. Those that did things for these folks, did so in deeply profound secret. Even after the system was finished working, folks who could write, would not write down their stories in my way of looking at this. Many folks still lived in the bigoted areas, the kkk would have killed them for their admissions. There may have been a need to repeat some of this helping for whatever reason, so they would have been very silly to break their silence, or write their own death sentences. Neighbours did not know who did what, the symbols were kept secret for very good reasons. So I would be more likely to believe, this young woman, her family went through highly stressful life changing experiences, they would be eternally grateful for these kind strangers, who also risked everything, right down to their own lives you go girl, it must be hard to get any information true or not. All the best.
