like from this subscriber - well done my young brother in Christ - - something I don't hear used in a defense of our Lord's deity is that He accepted worship all during His ministry and never once rebuked anyone for doing so. - perhaps the greatest proof is that He said he would rise on the third day (after His death) and He did.

@@lw216316 That’s a great point. If Jesus wasn’t God, he would have been quick to rebuke those who worshipped him and to make it clear to his followers that only God is to be worshipped. Thank you brother and praise our Lord Jesus for his amazing Word! 🙌🙏

@@SavedSkeptic Hi! As someone from a Soviet culture (now an immigrant in the USA) I believe that the resurrection was staged by the Romans, as explained in a popular book where I'm from - "The Gospel of Afranius"; like many others, I read it in childhood and never thought about this question again - until coming to the USA and noticing a stark contrast in the discussion of this question. What's wrong with that explanation? Also, I believe matter is eternal - it can only move and change but not appear from nowhere - seems like common sense to me, but apparently not here in the US, what's wrong with that?

@@valinorean4816 You shouldn't rely on one single author/book to settle the biggest questions of life. Study more on the topic and I think you'll see why the idea that the Romans staged the resurrection is absurd. Regarding matter, the second law of thermodynamics proves that matter is not eternal, rather it experiences entropy over time and eventually will reach a maximum state of entropy.

@@SavedSkeptic "Study more on the topic and I think you'll see why the idea that the Romans staged the resurrection is absurd." Can you lease elaborate? The idea is that they wanted to promote among the J-ws a movement that preached peace and nonviolent coexistence - this was in the heavy pre-War atmosphere, remember (broadly reminsicent e.g. of Russia going to any scheming lengths trying to absorb Ukraine - or for any other reason). See e.g. 1 Peter 2:13-18 - chef's kiss! Also, John 11:47-48 directly states that the Romans had a motive to create an atmosphere of miracles around him. Note that they did not expect it to "esc-pe the lab" - it was intended for local use only, and at the same time as Nero was terrorizing Christians in Rome, the local Roman procurator was furious that the local Christian leader James was killed in his absence. See the difference?

@@SavedSkeptic There are consistent past-eternal cosmological models, for example the reference eighteen in the rationalwiki article about William Lane Craig speculates that there could be two waves approaching each other, since forever, and when they collided, (big) bang. In this case, the entropy does not increase when an object is passively moving through space (that's easy to understand: if you move with it, then you see nothing at all happening), so in this model the entropy stays constant until shortly before the bb and only starts increasing a finite time ago, even though the Universe in this model is eternal. What's wrong with that? How do you know that something like that model is wrong? (If by any chance something like that is true, the Universe was not created!)

I love the scriptures you pointed out in John 1:1, 14! Jesus is the word of God and we have Him with us every day. When we open the Word of God, Jesus (God) is speaking to us and communing with us through the Word.

@@kimberlykidd2535 John 1:1 and 1:14 top my list of favorite verses because they show without a doubt that God the Son not only entered the world to save us but is the creator and sustainer of our world. Amazing stuff! 🙌

Great video. The verses you used were spot on. I'll add Colossians 2:9 and Philippians 2:5-8.

You can't have the Trinity and also Jesus. It must be just one, God alone! There is no need to call God by name. It isn't right. God must be called 'God'. Jesus is a messiah!
