@Ramji Gupta, Evidence exists for historical events. There is absolutely NO evidence of Hanuman, a flying monkey with a flaming tail narrated in Valmiki and Tulsidas Ramayan. Similarly, it is biologically and statistically impossible that 100 Kauravas were the sons of blind Dhritarashtra and Gandhari. Facts lead to the truth and the truth shall set us free. Chandogya upanishada mentions shri krishna and panini's ashtadhyayi also mentions shri krishna and arjuna and other characters like yudhisthira Apart from this various brahmanas mentions many characters of mahabharata like satpath brahamana mentioned about kuru king who performs an ashwamedh yagna named as janamejaya Acc to kaustiki and sankhayana brahmana shikhandi teaches about yagna And many more are there in Brahmanas and other vedic texts

King porus was last king from puru dynasty wich is mentioned in vedas and puru dynasty comess from king yayati. We also get to know about this from mudrakshasa which proves Mahabharata as a history.
