I found mine on Amazon.$16 with a carry case. I was not impressed with the ammo it came with but I had a 5000 piece clay ammo bag I bought. I took my Swiss Army knife and used the flat screw driver and snuggled the holding clamp. That worked great. Keep shooting.
Sweet! yes that ammo is horrible there’s much better clay. I’ve heard PGN makes some fantastic clay ammo. Thanks for stopping by brother. Appreciate it 👊🙂
Thanks for the comment, appreciate it. I think I know which one you are referring to. I’ve tried the palm swell one and is far more comfortable than the one I got. Just great little frames and the sights give it a nice reference point when shooting. Thanks once again for stopping by 🙂👊🙏
Under $15 excellent product. 😜 Is not the slingshot, you are very accurate shooter. Well done. Definitely you deserve more subscribers. Keep on shooting Brother 🇺🇸😊
Great shooting … especially with the clay!!! Yep, your 3/8 would tear it up!!! I’ll have to checkout the link …. I might pick one up for that price!! Thanks for sharing!! 👍👍
I recently bought one off of ebay, pretty much the same exact model, but got 5 band sets and some 5/16" steel ammo. I mounted it on a slingshot rifle that I built, removing the wood scales... worked much better than the Daisy model with tubes that I bought first to try out... I wanted to be able to change the bands easier. I liked it so much that I bought another one to shoot as is... I'm just a beginner shooter... you're a much better shot than I am ! I found the bands to be cheap, and break easily, so I'm using bandsets from Simple Shot... love their stuff !
That is awesome 5/16 is a nice size to shoot. slingshot shooting is kinda addictive, hours of fun without breaking the bank. Simpleshot bands work great, also sniper sling yellow bands work very well. I appreciate the comment . Thank you 🙏🙂
@@henrycj9315they went up on price you can find them for around $18-$25 online either Amazon or eBay. Jinpu bands are great, stretchy and snappy, thanks for stopping by 🙂
I have a very similar frame from Alix. Mine is the solid SS frame (no wooden handle - wood handle is not as good) version wrapped in rawhide and has the same mm markings on the forks. Completely useless markings, but is an amazing frame to shoot with and is a 10 second operation to change bands. Mine came with the two optical sights for left and right sides depending on whether you shoot L or R. Highly recommend this frame even for beginners. It has taught me, and my sight is completely accurate if I am consistent with my aiming setup. The slingshot frame is irrelevant as long as you are consistent with your shooting, which is why people can shoot frameless slingshots and be just that damn good.
Nice! There are many good out there for the fraction of the price. I agree at the end of the day the frame is nothing more than the handle. Some people are crazy accurate shooting frameless. Appreciate the comment, thank you 🙏🙂
Wow! Good shot. I think i saw you last night live stream Channel chicken Steel. I like this video I barely got my slingshot similar to yours. You have more stuff and list price. Can't wait to see more videos. I'll try to make sure I see you're videos first for now on.👍🙏✌
Thanks brother 🙏 appreciate you stopping by, I jumped in for a little while to listen in to the stream. However I Had to work and was unable to comment It was an awesome stream but the audio started echoing and really had to pay attention to the audio. Gracias Maximo 👊🙂🙏
Any idea what the small holes in the pinch grips are for ? Probably just decoration ? The stainless steel is VERY hard... I attempted to drill a hole in the center of the forks opening, with little success ! I was planning on building a custom slingshot by cutting the handle off, and using the fork head, pinning it to a custom handle that I was going to make... gave up on that idea !
You can add some lanyard to the bigger holes on the grip the smaller holes are just there for decoration, there just too small for pinning any additional materials to the frame, oh and yes that material is hard to work with. Appreciate the comment thanks 🙏🙂
To use the sights you have to have the clamps facing you. That relies on the thread of the screws not failing and the clamp plates flying back into your face. Much safer to shoot with the screws facing you and not using the sights which is how most experts do it anyway.
Hey smudger appreciate the comment, yes the images show the clamp facing the shooter with the sights installed, I much rather use the corner of my frame as a reference point. This attachment method id definitely not the safest. I like the clamps from wasp or simpleshot. Thanks again for stopping by and commenting 👍🙂✌️
Same, it’s just a very versatile little frame, can’t go wrong with it being so affordable. shooting bbs it’s tons of fun, been shooting those as well as airsoft ammo. I appreciate the comment Kenneth thank you 🙏👊🙂
By the way... I like having a lanyard on my slingshots... I removed the wood scales, and milled a groove into the bottom underside of each piece, so I could add a paracord lanyard to it... worked great !
@@CountDoucheula it is quiete beefy compared to other skeleton frames such as the wasp xo, scout lt, titan hunter, but should still feel good on the hand if you choose to remove the scales. I myself have never done so but a paracord wrap will probably look nice on it. Thanks for stopping by 👊🙂
@@CountDoucheula It's pretty beefy... that stainless steel is really hard... I attempted to drill through it, but it's too hard for my drill bits ! I have used similar Chinese stainless steel slingshots that just have the head (upper part) screwed through the forks to a wood handle for a couple of my slingshot projects where I made a custom Sambar stag handle... work great for them !
A friend got me one very similar as a birthday gift and i made my own foam and paracord grip and cut the band down a couple inches. Got a nice piece of leather and some rubber to make a larger pouch so i can shoot my marbles that i have been using for over 20yrs... love it
this one is available under many different names. some on alieexpress are made very cheap with weak plastic parts, this one is great for the price. if you can find something similar to this with a strong core, you cant go wrong. appreciate the comment, thank you 🙏🙂
Hey sambo, I’ve heard about those crazy gun restrictions in the UK. For the money it’s a nice little shooter, appreciate the comment. Greetings from Texas 🙂👊
I got mine today, and it's like they have taken it out of a reject bin at the factory!! Gonna need to take my dremel to it! Guess that's what I get for using wish!
Oh no! With this particular model you definitely need to keep am eye out, so many companies are carrying it. I don’t trust wish, the orders I have placed from them look nothing like the pictures they use for advertising their products. Hope you can fix it with the dremel. Thanks for the comment, appreciate it 🙂👊
@@jsnipe9111 hey thanks for the comment, I’m assuming your referring to band slap. Basically when the band returns and hits your hand after releasing your shot. If this is the case your bands are not matched to your ammo. Heavy bands and light ammo will give you really bad hand slap. Now if it’s the ammo hitting your hand when you release, that will be your release. This frame is 85mm wide I would practice with a much bigger frame 90mm to 100mm, don’t worry about accuracy and focus on that smooth release first I first started shooting with a slingshot that was 104mm outer width and then gravitated more towards smaller frames. Hope this helps. 🙂✌️
They sell it under different names here’s a few links you can check out. Nice video, just getting into slingshots. I just bought the hammer XT with the slingbow attachment to try bow fishing. I also ordered one like this on amazon. Just wondering if there is a target side and a shooters side with this slingshot?
Hey Keith appreciate the comment, thanks, 🙏you can’t go wrong with the hammer XT a beast of a frame. I own one also and love it, haven’t taken it bow fishing yet, but it’s in my plans. In regards to your question it works both ways but it’s designed to shoot with the screws facing towards the target. Keep on shooting, and once again thanks for stopping by 👊
Thanks for the fast reply. Just found your channel and subscribed right away. I've been going through your videos and am finding a lot of great information. I also ordered the S-Galaxy from snipersling slingshots for my grandson, he really liked the blue one. Thanks again for putting out all these videos.
Well I follow a few American and British channels that do hunting vids with slingshots there are also a few Asian channels into it There is a follow if wish to@@k.o.skeeponshooting235
@@harryo2253 hey harry thanks for the comment, it’s a good lil slingshot, I often return to it due to the sights and how easy the band attachment is. I appreciate you taking the time to see the video and commenting 🙂✌️
Well the scout XT is an excellent slingshot, better quality, better clips, if you ever damage a clip they can easily be replaced. The palm swell is also very nice and far more comfortable to hold in my opinion. However it all comes down to the shooter. I’ve had friends who can’t hit anything with the scout XT and can shoot this one just fine. Reason being anchor point and fork width. So In the right hands this slingshot could perform just as well as some of the customs out here worth 4X the price. It just really comes down to what fork width the shooter prefers and how the frame feels on the hand. The scout XT is far superior than this $15 frame but accuracy can’t be bought. Thanks for the question, appreciate it 🙂. Hopefully this answered your question, if not let me know. Take care 🙂👊
This one doesn’t have a name brother, it’s one that is sold under different codes or numerations. Many sellers sell it under different names and it ranges from $12-$20
