UPDATE: I was easily able to pull the yellow branding stickers off of the monitor arm, after doing this there was no residue and looks great overall, huge pro!
Ok the product is great but dude, honestly this is one of the best reviews i've seen on YT. You didnt hold back on moving it wildly, and tested it really well, kudos! This is what we want to see!
I already made my choice about halfway through the video but I ended up watching anyway because the editing and the guy speaking was pleasantly chill yet detailed. Nice review!
I bought this a few days ago and was sceptical of its quality due to the low price but after watching some videos of people who insisted it was solid I ordered it. For those in doubt: this is an amazing product for its price! Might take a little tinkering to get it to work the way you want but it really is worth it. Also, I realized they kinda ripped off the New Balance logo lol you can peel the yellow brand badges off very easily
Those are lovely, I have two NB F100a and they've been my best friends for a while, provides a clean look, more space on the desk without the standard monitor stands and a lot of mobility to the monitors
man i generally don't trust RU-vid reviews or recommendations but the way you tested and explained every single detail, glad i watched your video, thank you, this product is so sturdy that i had a shorter hdmi cable when i tilted the screen the port on my monitor broke and came out,its totally my fault, so be carful.
I empathize with those individuals who purchased the item and initially perceived it as being of poor quality, when in fact they just needed to adjust the grip. Fortunately, I came across a video that provided me with this valuable information. I was concerned about potentially wasting a significant amount of money on my Gigabyte 32-inch monitor, but now I feel relieved. 😆
@@relodev yes they are, especially where I live. The QHD Aorus ones are ridiculously expensive here. I bought that monitor arm a few days ago and it has been amazing, by the way. I have a 27" ViewSonic OMNI VX2728J-2K weighs around 10 pounds and the arm is very sturdy, no issues at all.
Had a Xiaomi Mi Curved 34 ultrawide mounted on this mount. It was ~17lbs, so significantly lighter than the LG ultrawide. It had no problems handling that.
@KhaledSham yes it does, especially if I'm typing aggressively. It has more to do with my desk, though, since I have a sit-stand desk with a fairly high and heavy center of gravity.
I just got mine. They are designing the arm differently now. There are no glossy pieces anymore, but more importantly, the base only had 1 screw as opposed to the 3 screws on the one in the video.
Have this arm, and it is PERFECT for 24-inch monitors But when I upgraded to a 28-inch ASUS the tilt becomes stiff, surprised he didn't see that as a down side But I am fidgety when it comes to adjusting my monitor so if you always keep yours at the same tilt then it shouldn't be an issue
I have this as a arm for my secondary 27 incher. Does the job with no complaints other than the ugly yellow logo that I try and cover with my deskmat 😅
@@sanjaypersaud9695 mine was just a plastic logo that was stick on the arm. I just remove them and cleaned the residues. Maybe that was the outdated version. I think this one is the new one, i guess.
I just got this oh trust me this Monitor arm is definitely worth the price does the job so well easy to set up & everything is nice & tight I got my 13.7lb 25 inch monitor on there it's perfect to adjust anytime I need to don't know why some people spend like over $100 for arms because of the brand names 😂 oh & mine doesn't have the logo on the base it's only on the upper part of the arm in the back
this brand use the same arm as Invision MX200 in Europe (i have it mounted into a 34 ultra wide monitor and its working perfectly), btw really nice video and explaination!
Great video man, I've used some of those arms and they are the best to gain space on the desk. Btw nice lamp would you mind to share the brand or reference of it?
@@tmorsplanet7945 So far it’s been great! Can’t beat that price for what it does. The stickers peel off easily as well! I would definitely purchase again.
Sub $50 monitor arms will get you 99% of the way there. i bought a like $350 dual arm from Dell and i loved it visually but functionally was just not it, liked 2 single arms that i got for under $80 more.
I just randomly came across this video and I saw it was about the arm that I own. I have the MSI MAG274QRF-QD 27" monitor on it and I'd say it works great. Had no problems with it and I recommend it.
Okay I know this may be a dumbass question, but I haven’t seen him do it in the video! can you have the arm swing to the left as well and have it oriented that way? trying to use this for my second monitor to have it almost bezeled on the left of my main monitor!
GREAT REVIEW, however, On my dell u2410 it simply DOES NOT hold up, it's way too heavy for the arm and i have returned it for the more sturdy and pricy big brother one. :(
I currently use an Asus 24-in give him monitor and I got this monitor arm and I assembled everything correctly and attach the monitor to the arm however from what I can tell the monitor itself is too light at 24 in and even if I adjust the gas spring and try to push the arm down it goes right back up so I'm going to get a much newer monitor maybe like a Samsung Odyssey G8 34-in NC if it makes a difference anyways great video I'm enjoying what you're doing keep up the awesome content.
At first I thought my monitor arm was broken or my monitor was too light. I adjusted mine counter clockwise to the max and it did it. My monitor weighs very light too.
32" G8 almost wants to sag, and if I mess around too much it will, until it doesnt. I cant figure out which alan key -point is the one that fixes tilt. If its the one I think it is, its so tight I cant figure out which way is tighter and which way is looser and its locked up....if LOOSER makes it less prone to tilt, well...that's very counter intuitive, and if TIGHTER makes it less prone to tilt, well its so tight I may have stripped it yet it still wants to sag. The G8 is only 15 pounds and the weight limit is 20 so this kinda sucks.
i think its hyperx armanda monitor. Its 1440p 165hz ips. And IPS what makes it look sharp. its 400 bucks. I think its overpriced idk why, you'll find cheaper but better options
Hey so my table is pretty big and I might have to permanently keep the arm extended if I want to use this, has anyone been using it while almost always extended for a long time? How's it holding up?
