I totally had the rubbing from the collar on the ankle! It was so comfy in the store too, but after wearing them at home for half an hour I noticed that. (Wearing men's but they look the same.) Compared with my other shoes the part of the collar where it meets the tongue is fairly rigid/thick and at a sharp angle for no reason. Kind of a shame.
Just bought them for myself! Amazing review!~ (The Ankle rubbing can be patched through using long-sleeved socks) Extremely stable, flexible but not fragile. Considering buying a second pair and storing them just in case.
Well, it is probably better than running barefoot which some people have done. Seriously, there are softer and lighter shoes out there. But then the simple answer to your question is yes.
