Omgsh I’m soooo stoked to see you got Another 13!!!! And I’m so glad you can understand the appeal now 🥰 i love it so so much!!! I’m so happy you like it 😀 🫶
My favorite category! I love unisex fragrances, and have, since before it was a thing. I used to occasionally wear my husband’s fragrances, like Cool Water, and some others. You get the best of both worlds, so what’s not to love? If I could smell exactly like a forest after the rain, or the cedar A-frame cabin on a river, in the forest I once lived in, I would be satisfied.🙂
I’m so glad that fragrances aren’t as “gendered” as they used to be. So liberating!! Thanks for the great suggestions. Bois d’Iris by van Cleef and Arpels is amazing and smells a little like pencil shavings which I love. Very comforting and unisex.
Your effort with orange noted and appreciated Veronica! 🧡 I love unisex fragrances and my suggestions are: Liis - Bo, Matiere Premiere - Santal Austral & Bois d'ebene.
Good morning Veronica!❤🎉 I’m a dud at identifying unisex fragrances. 😂 I’ve always liked traditionally ‘masculine’ fragrances. I wore Fahrenheit for a while in my life. I think all fragrances are for all people. You like what you like. And wear it. I’m happy to see a lot of fragrances classified unisex and not gendered. All that is to say that I have nothing to contribute to this conversation!😂😂😂 Have a great week!❤️🥰😘
Of course I love Mizensir Ambre Magique ❤ but think an often overlooked unisex frag is Parle Moi de Parfum “Woody Perfecto” - there’s this bright note that makes me happy and which I think makes it work in all seasons
Hey!! Another 13 and Givenchy Gentleman Privee are my favorites that are unisex! Especially this time of year. I’m not sure the Givenchy is marketed as being unisex! I’m trying to decide my next purchase in this category! Perfect timing!😊❤
I love unisex fragrances, I always have. One of my faves in my early days was CK Be and that is my benchmark for all unisex scents. 😊 I ain't afraid of no oud! 😂 (tell me why the theme from Ghostbusters was going through my head when you said "for those of you who are afraid of oud") Pretty sure I'd like Rialto!
I just picked up perfume di Marley Althair-which I think is unisex I love it for the fall. I waited for that big sale. I’ve been playing around with mixing it with Bacarrat Royge 540 the Extrait and it makes it so super elegant and a little bit different.
Funny enough, another 13 is my most complimented one out of all my fragrances, even 12 hours later. Its the simplest one in my collection but it draws atention, even if i don,t smell it anymore, people around me still can 😅
I've noticed a change in fragrance preferences in terms of what is now considered unisex. I've noticed more and more men wearing sweet fragrances, which at least in the past has been preferred more by women to wear (where I'm from and in my culture, I should add). This has surprised me quite a bit, but I think it just broadens the perception of what is unisex and what fragrances we attribute to either men or women. This is interesting to me, as I think the olfactive experience or enjoyment of it is a neutral experience for all. However, we still associate fragrance preferences with either feminine or masculine attributes (and honestly can't help it, in my case!). Very interesting.
My husband would have never! Lol. He is a manly man. Tatted from the neck down to his toes. Shaved head and all. Lol. I had to trick him into wearing BR540 - the first unisex I had heard of then. Little by little, he’d wear TF Oud Wood - one of my favorite perfumes on myself. Slowly but surely, he realized that unisex frags work for both of us, the same fragrance pulls masculine on him and feminine on me. Now, we share Tom Ford, Initio, Nishane, Xerjoff, Bond 9, Commodity, and other fragrances. Here’s my theory: Many men may have gotten a “push” from their female partners. I would be wrong! 😆
I have herd that if there are oakmoss or Moses in a perfume it can smell like selleri and that type of vegetables, dild pickle. But if it is real I don't know, I just herd it in a perfume video.. 😂
@ldybugz4911 for sure! It was on my wishlist. My friend got a sample with her Lucky Scent order. I was excited!!! I dabbed it on and was like, "oh heck no!!!" 🤣. Sandalwood is super tricky for me. Piano Santal was a scrub (pee, baby powder, and soured milk). Santal Basmati is okay (by a hair). This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire works for me. Lol. I'm not ready to give up on Sandalwood, though 😬
