I once read that in most of their songs that the others in the band followed Wyman. Bass led, then Charlie, then the two guitarists. Keith said in an interview he’d give Wyman a guitar line for a new song and Wyman would come back with a bass line that “would blow him away”
Fantastic upload my friend Rob, sooo Good¡¡¡¡. Nice to see you again in the channel, that Bass smells really like the Spirit of the Stones in the 60´s Superlikeee¡¡¡ from Spain and have a nice weekend: Javier
This is kind of out of line with your regular song choices of classic rock, but could you do anything by Neutral Milk Hotel? Holland, 1945 and In The Aeroplane Over The Sea would be my top picks, great video btw!
Thanks, I just use a DI box for videos but I use a Fender Rumble 500 combo amp when playing live. I use various brands of flatwound strings, I usually write what type I was using in the video description.
@Mike Barooshian I agree the band isn’t half as good without Bill, but that’s no reason for the rest of them to retire if they’re still enjoying it and the fans are still paying to see them, that’s all that matters.
@Mike Barooshian I thoroughly disagree. Their best years were with Bill of course, but as I said if they still enjoy it, who are you to tell them to stop? It’s their lives after all, and they’re clearly having a fantastic time doing it. Their also still making huge amounts of money from all the fans who still want to see them. The best option for you is to just pretend they did retire and don’t go to see them if it bothers you so much…
