A tour of engineer and cartoonist Tim Hunkin's eccentric and brilliant arcade of home-made slot machines on Southwold Pier. This video was recorded and made in Feburary 2020 and includes the following machines in action: Whack a Banker, Pirate Practice, Flydrive, The Bathyscape, Crankenstein, The Booth of Truth, Test Your Nerve, Microbreak and Decoration Direct.

Thanks for this. I visited 20 yrs ago and loved the creativity, humour and spirit of the machines and attractions in the arcade. Really glad to see its still as magical as a remembered it to be.

Tim Hunkin was another inspiration from my youth. He made a series of tv programmes called The Secret Life of Machines that demystified everyday machines. They are all available to watch on RU-vid on Tim’s channel.
