I've lived here my whole life, you're glamorizing Port Huron. Rising crime and a huge underground Drug problem. But you can't beat living by the water!
I've lived here my whole life, too, but I did move away twice. If you want crime to rise and drugs to take over, advertise it -- you'll keep decent people away and invite the scumbags. It's like you want Port Huron to fail.
I'm 13 and I live 5 mins away. It's definitely a city that people visit, go out to eat and just have a good time here. It's definitely not easy to move to Plymouth since the prices of the houses are through the roof but it sure is a great city.
Plymouth Michigan (aka Detroit's version of Kirkwood MO) is so much nicer than the city of Detroit itself (even though they're both in Wayne County Michigan).
Port Huron is a total dump. Drugs...Prostitution...homeless everywhere.....I just moved from there. I was there 2 years and will NEVER go back. Horrible. If you just film the water ...the bridge...and the store fronts,..you can make ANY shithole look nice. Trust me....its a dump. If you like trash everywhere....liquor stores on every corner...and tripping over homeless drug addicts and alcoholics who beg you for every dime you have...come on out.....Port Huron is the place for YOU !!!
Strange -- you must know where to look for drugs, prostitutes, liquor stores and the homeless. I've lived here most of my life, moved away twice for work but came back because I'd rather be here than anywhere else. I don't see whatever you saw. Must be the company you keep.
