Seems like no matter what flag is flying on the boat, the teams are saturated with Kiwi's & Aussies.

Hugely under-exposed channel. Love it.

Legs versus arms. This is making it easier to share sailing with others. It's slow. That's what it feels like to win the Americas cup. Yes I do Believe that's what it will feel like. It'll all be worth it. Be Lucky and safe. I love this stuff.

Hate to say it... Everyone but one was pointed the same way, and the team that thought outside the box cleaned up. But that team had to think outside the box on nearly every issue. Perhaps the defining issue in the event was "who could generate the most hydraulic pressure". There were a cascade of attributes which flowed on from this. Hands free while legs pedaling, use hands to provide sensitive control of the pitch stability, and the shape of the sail. Two vastly different attributes, but the solutions both stemmed from using legs to generate power, and using hands to generate control. Why did no other team come up with the same logical solutions? They didn't think outside the box...

All they get to develop are the foils and control surfaces? That's pretty lame in my opinion. I think this year's cup is a lot more interesting because of the variety of yacht designs.

legs are stronger. why are there still hand grinders... I vé always wondered... And why they cycle like crazy if it can beaucoup done by hands. .

It's just pain mate, and knowing how to push your way through it.. and also the wealth of people with passion and the same mission.. It put a U.S flag on the moon.. There's nothing different.. I wasn't about country, it was about human ambition and belief

I hope these monsters and technological marvels NEVER come back. These boats created the most boring of races. The start and the wind speed in the beginning are pretty much 95% of the race with a super short race of 40 or so minutes. The america's Cup should not be a drag race on water. As Peter Burling said: "Just pumping oil does not feel like sailing at all"
