I have this condition underactive thyroid is a nightmare sometimes, that how my diagnosis was because all I felt like was going sleep. Yes dryness is pain to, my face is awful with that but I’m using some moisture to help it and it’s finally working. I have blood test now every time I feel under the weather, I try and use up my spoons wisely just so I won’t over do it because sometimes I always have consequences to deal with afterwards like being poorly although I do have other health issues going on to but other then that I pick myself back after I feel tired for a while. The winter months are definitely the hardest for underactive thyroid I think because the weather doesn’t help your moods either but I always put comedy on to make me laugh as we all say laughter is the best medicine after all ;) I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and new year though can’t believe 2024 already x
Hi, great video. Just wanted some advice I have terrible fatigue, sleep in the day. Weight gain that I cannot shift, always cold, brain fog. Constipation and diarrhoea and tummy pain. My level was 4.63 3 months ago and now 4.43. Would you recommend medication? Many thanks
I wouldn’t be able to give you specific advice. Sounds like you’re concerned about the symptoms so I’d suggest booking an appointment with your doctor to discuss it.
Hi Valerie - sorry to hear about your experience. If you've been placed on thyroid medication there is usually a good reason for it. Please consult your doctor about the fact that you've stopped and allow them to discuss alternative management with you. All the best x
