I returned to Brighton in the early 1990's from Germany after a couple of years and I was shocked at the massive increase of Homeless people...before it was like 3-4 tramps and then like 300 people one outside every bank, shops, etc...I befriended some and found out why...the Tories made cuts to mental health and released loads of low level patients creating the flood of Homeless people, well at least in the early 1990's these were people who could not conform to the get a job, pay rent, buy a car etc...exist in this slave matrix

This guy is talking from experience of dealing with people from all walks of life and taking a step back from the blue line to think about how can we really help each other and society as a whole. I think that’s what you both have in common, going through the meat grinder from opposites end of the spectrum and both coming to the same conclusion. Then half (1/2 ounce), an Oz (1 ounce), Quarter K or '9 bar' (1/4 Kilogram = 9 Ounce), Half K (1/2 Kilogram = 18 Ounce) & 'A K' or 1 K (1 Kilogram = 36 Ounce).

County lines is the best example of how drug dealing has evolved into something far more brutal over time. The town I live in, all of the dealers used to be local addicts. There are no longer any local addicts that sell drugs, (heroin and crack) unless they're doing the leg work for a county lines gang. For which they're paid less than half of the minimum wage.

Why profit and followers of Jacob Joseph Frank... Why drug reform is so slow is that there are 'elements' out there that don't want to be exposed from the 'healing' of drug users exposing the crimes done to them growing up...

I used to get the same time slowing down adrenaline rush which unfortunately made me quite vicious in street fights. Got me in and out of many scary positions.

I think the horrible thing is not being abandoned by the state but being abandoned by her family.

As far as I know, laws in Portugal punishes (any) drug usage only if harm can be proven to others by it. Thats very simple and should get implemented everywhere imo.

Also as I know, they had very serious drug situation, and now producing very good statistics by this. Also these rules created by indpendent groups, not politicans.

@@GThu1 it's long been obvious to me that the idea of "harm reduction" as the basis of the drug wars in the US is ludicrous. Cannabis has zero recorded deaths yet lives are ruined & families torn apart over prosecution. I also think that much of the meth use here is self medicating ADHD, it's how I started. It's also the fastest way to combat depression. Not that I don't see the harm in it, I do but once I could obtain prescribed amphetamines, my desire for meth was gone. Many folks I know have turned to heroin after being cut off of needed pain meds. I'd like to see the U.S. try the methods used in Portugal, treating drug abuse as a medical, not a criminal problem. I'm an old hippy for Bernie, his plan to deschedule cannabis & expunge the records of those arrested is huge. Healthcare for everyone is sorely needed here. I've been clean longer than I was an addict now but my body has really suffered from working sick & dirty meth..
