Looking at this from the outside, I also find it odd that the police say these clubs are organized crime syndicates, yet when they manage to infiltrate them they never seem to come up with a lot of high level convictions, it's all either nickel and dime stuff, individual activity or something the cop set in motion to begin with. If they really are organized crime gangs shouldn't having a cop on the inside lead to massive convictions for all involved?

FWIW: There was an Instructor at the Federal Law Enfocement Academy in Glyco, Ga. in the early 80s who claimed that he infiltrated the Outlaws Motorcycle Chapter in Jacksonville, Florida. He claimed then that his infiltration resulted in something like 28 convictions. maybe someone in the know can comment of this.
