Such a great system, I cannot wait for the High Octane pipe to arrive. Already got the trenching contractor ready, 811 called and all my stone is ready to be delivered. So excited. Many people in this town are waiting to see how well it works so they too, can use it for their drainage problems.

We installed two downspout kits last summer and they have worked flawlessly! My wife and i are retired and we did it all ourselves. Highly recommend this product! Question: How do i remove the vent on the inline catch basin with turf restrictor plate? Thankyou French drain man!

We just pop it out with a slotted screwdriver. Then, it press-fits right back in.

Going to work on a second downspout drain soon. This one will be running a 3” under a 20” high concrete block retaining wall. Is there a fitting to reinforce the pipe where it passes under the wall?

How far out from the down spout do you recommend we put the catch basin? Do I need any adapters for the catch basin or do I just slide the heavy duty armor (white pipe) over the blue internal adapters on the basin and tape it with your black plumbers tape?

Place the catch basin three feet from the downspout, and you are correct, slide the armor pipe over the blue coupler and tape it for a good seal.

When you put your rock under the catch basin you should install fabric first just like a french drain or you will get dirt in the rock and it will be pointless over time won’t it??

I thought that you were supposed to have solid pipes for down spouts? And cut for the yard French drains? And didn't you say previously that you didn't want socks on the pipes? Or is this new for you?

I got the regular version (not pro, 3”). So can I connect the cleanout directly to the catch basin with part of the 3 inch pipe that comes in my kit? or do I need to install a separate 90° bend between the cleanout and the catch basin like in the pro kit?

When you are doing a buried downspout job for a customer, how do you determine if they need 3 or 4 inch pipe?

@@jeff-l8w We run all singles on 3" pipe now. Only use 4" pipe when adding more downspouts to the same main line.

My existing gutter downspouts are schd20 and burried around 5-6 feet. Some of the old connections are cracked and i was thinking to use your high octane vs sdr30. A lot of "experts" suggest digging deep to original 5 feet depth. Your system is more appealing since will not require deep excavation. Any benefits of using old school sdr30 buried deep vs your design? Thank you

Zero benefits with anything PVC. It's bad for the environment and toxic to humans and animals.
