My favorite part is that the skit is only 40 seconds of this video....the next 40 seconds are people LOSING THEIR MINDS. One of my most favorite skits ever. Iconic. Classic. GREAT job!!!
I literally didnt think this could ever be done in real life. This was not only creative, but it was also nostalgic, very well planned out, and such a masterpiece in a short amount of time. I am glad to see this performance got an award, it was really outstanding. I literally clapped, smiled and laughed (in a good way!) over how genius this was, and I have to admit, I got a little teary eyed too :)
Funny how a six year old cosplay skit can literally STILL be the best out there. Seriously and amazing skit. I cannot even begin to express how awesome this is.
+Cherry Wallflower YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE! This is one of the only videos that no matter how many times I watch it I cry and smile so wide my cheeks hurt. XDD!
Whenever I get discouraged with my cosplays I come watch this video to remember cosplay is meant to be fun for everyone. I can't imagine how good that girl felt, getting that kind of a reaction out of the crowd!! I literally tear up everytime lol.
Yup, cosplay is about having fun and playing the role of an anime character you like. It shouldnt be about showing skin and having simps worshiping you.
I love it when the crowd starts cheering at 10 seconds into the video because I was literally screaming when I saw the background starting to come in, I would have lost my mind too if I saw that in person!
This is my favorite video. I return to it all the time, and to this day it still gives me chills. Such wonderful nostalgia and joy. ❤ Sailor Moon forever
(pulls out list of things he thought weren't possible) Let's see, where is...AH! Here we are: "Live-on-stage magical girl transformation sequence." (crosses item off of list)
Wow its not just me! OMG (finds book of anime yume (dreams) and looks up sailor moon) Ah..... yes here we go... live transformation sequence.... check..... reading comment about it.... check.... watching it multiple times.... check...... My life is complete... ^-^ (gets carried away by Shinagami) haaaaaaaaaaaa......
Well, there are official Sailor Moon musicals and they did it! They normally do it with doubles, but the 2018 musical (Nogizaka46) actually made the girls change clothes within literally a second. It's amazing!
When I first saw this video 9yrs ago, I was starting my cosplaying journey. I began competing a few years after that. I’m now a master lever cosplayer. I need you to understand from the bottom of my heart that this masquerade entry is TIMELESS!!! If this skit was entered in a masquerade today, in 2023, even with all the advances made in the masquerade/cosllay competiton world, it could still win the best in show title for presentation. This video is now making its was onto TIKTOK!! The only main thing showing its age is the video quality but the skit itself?!?!?!? HALL OF FAME!!!
I know this video is old but I wanted to say that this video is what I aspire to as a cosplayer. Ever since I first saw it, it became my goal to do a transforming cosplay!
16 years later. STiLL a legend. 2024. Will never lose its icon status. EVER! Imagine being this person and being asked how much you love Sailor Moon and then you showed them this. lol
I Slowed it down to only 0.25 to watch the best camouflage in blue suits and see how each of the 10 workers helped Miss Pixie Transform , but the smallest addition was the Tiara on her forehead, when all the jewelery was added near the finale!! WOW!!!!! PRAISE THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!!!!! ALLELUIA!!!!! AMEN 🙏 🙏 🙏!!!!!
Hahaha! At first I was like "No she's not!" but as soon as it started.... I don't know if I'm tearyeyed because of the amazing nostalgia or because of my cat! Awesome job!!!
I was laughing so hard, not to make fun of them, but 'cause it was just so entertaining! That was really awesome! Must have taken a lot of practice and preparation! Kudos! I also liked how they used the Japanese audio! FAVE!
Wow! What a great idea for a skit. And it was executed perfectly. I especially like after the gloves are put on how she raises her hands at just the right moment with the audio. Well done.
