I love watching Ms Ohno work. But sometimes I get sad that I cannot find any of these plants or grasses here in the USA. There are not a lot of accompaniment plants available here yet.

In US you are better than we in Europe. There are a lot of shops with accompaniement plants in the us,I think. Or you can travel to Japan 😉

今回も楽しく拝見させて頂いています。配信終盤のハリガネカズラの1週間前に植え替えされた2鉢のです表面に乗せている(貼っている)苔の名前を是非教えて下さい。宜しくお願い致します。自分も土を鉢より上に盛り上げてこの苔を是非貼りたいです😅

Gaultheria Japonica is Creeping Snowberry, I don’t think this is what you were showing, not sure what that species is, not a specialist at all. Otherwise nice video as usual 😊

It is obviously not Gaultheria, it is Selaginella tamariscina. I wrote it here a few days ago, but comment was somehow erased. Japanese name of Gaultheria is the same like some comercial name of Selaginella.

As they say It is a member of the Iwahiba family, which grows thickly with thin, branched stems like a harigane. It looks good when planted in a pot like a bonsai. This is a trade name, and it is a different species from the ericaceae family's Harigane-kazura (Gaultheria procumbens).

Can you tell us scientific name of this hari igusa ハリイグサ plant? It seems there is some mistake, I can not find it, not even japan name. looks like some kind of Eleocharis sp.

So now I can answer to myself: because I´m good at this, I have found it, it is Eleocharis congesta var. japonica . Yeah! 🙂
