Lloyd, thanks for stopping by.. could you imagine the nightmare that would be in today's world... My plug doesn't line up with my receptacle. Now my door opener is broken I'm calling a lawyer... lol sad but true!!!
Here at Eliminator Performance small engine repair in Canada we like to think out of the box like Elon Musk. Gotta say this video does exactly that we have subbed.
Thank you... just another left over brain cell from my younger days coming back to haunt me and make me do things that just don't make sense to anyone else but me.... lmao.
I have the same problem with lighting under the door at night with the door open. You method gave me an idea of a different design. My deep fryer uses a magnetic plug/receptacle connection at the fryer (not at the wall). I'm thinking of contact using a magnetic connection with spring loaded contacts. Still thinking.
Joe you would never have to work on the Cheap Jeep in the dark again.... LOL Only a Redneck would do stupid stuff like this.... Trust me if this ever comes undone.. its coming down and getting thrown away... I have been trying to get this to work reliably for a few weeks now with no luck.. this is the stuff I never show on my channel But I should because its probably more entertaining... and my Bad Language and yelling at my Grandkids to be quite I'm filming.... LOL Thanks for Hanging out with a Redneck 2023
good plan but I personally would have run a permeant wire to the light and just installed a wall switch to turn it on and off as required also less chance of failure but great idea and a good job but a lot more work as well to make it automatic you also could have used a mercury switch on the light
Drew how are you my friend good to hear from you... Yes I know after I started this project I was thinking "" Man there are a million ways to solve this switching Issue"" I just stuck on this crazy idea and went with it.... I really like your idea about a mercury switch... Hmmmm Thinking, Thinking, Thinking.... What can I use that idea on next...LOL
I have a friend that works as a mechanic at a factory and they are a chrome nut one end is concaved and the other end is flat not sure what they are called nor used for??
