Wow, I had a feeling there was more to the DLC as I thought going to the Cognator at the end only to put a bullet in his head was a bit anti-climatic but I never thought it would play out like this. Do you get anything from all this though? Such as a new perk? Or have all the soldiers simply gone back to sleep so you can loot the place freely?
maybe, but the cognator does say that he detected invaders from the outer expanses (like the voidspawn from the shadowlith) but Biocorp never did anything, and then they just disappeared
I think this sequence shows the active threat from the outer expanses in recent times along side the growing intervention of the godmen, whether through the monoliths, or through physical intervention like with Six
This suggests probably the complete opposite, if they were out to destroy the shadowlith then they wouldn't have used mutagen to kill the Lemurians and then leave once they had gassed every station above ground. These soldiers also have been created with the help of Transcendix (if my memory serves me well) so their war against the eldritch forces might've been unintentional to the original Biocorp plans.
That's weird. In my game the door at 3:20 was locked (and could neither be hacked nor picked) and after taking he card, a large stationary enemy group with a designator robot appeared in front of the gate (at 4:00), making a pure stealth run impossible.
I think the room with the keycard has doors randomly unlocked from the office side or the armory side and all the double doors in the Compound have hackable locks only on one side (the one where you can see the keypad lock). Parts of this dungeon are randomized so the same strategy I used to sneak in this video might not work all the time. In case where a patrol spawns and blocks the way, a good tactics is to make some noise by throwing a grenade to lure the enemies anyway and then carefuly sneak in combat mode while keeping a distance from the designator.
Something to add, if you every get into a big fight with the guards, they will block that gate, which makes a full stealth build still viable. And as for the door, it's only the right door that's actually locked for some reason, the left one can be hacked. This is just what I got from testing. It could vary.

Psychopraths in the caves were killed by the Biocorp personnel after the former attacked their creators. One of the corpses clutches a piece of a lab coat.
Difficulty of this fight depends significantly on the chosen difficulty level. Persuasion is useful but the thing that helps the most to keep exosoldiers from breakind down is though control psi
@@paposikg650 what's the effect of it? My psi char already got one for breaking the dark crystal. Hell even if you don't break the dark crystal you still get a crazy good perk in outer visions
