I use Holbein and i can tell you there is no better acrylic paint, loaded with pigment, saturation, vibrant, buttery, but pricey for sure. Another sleeper acrylic paint is Lukas Studio, very very good bang for buck.
Oh, i'll give that Flashe a try. Colored pencil ontop of the holbein acrya gouache is miserable. My favorite so far is Golden So Flat Acrylic. Makes even bad paper good pencil paper. "self leveling" but just toothy enough to grab pencil color

Great info. I use the heck out of my dagger brushes. I have two...a long dagger and a shorter one. My workhorse brush is my Chinese calligraphy brush. I don't know the size of it, but I love it because the tip is very small and sharp for when I need very fine strokes. I use a flat brush every now and then but don't need to use it for most of my paintings.
I enjoyed your video, although after double-checking this morning, I’m sorry to say that some of your recommended economical products are either comparable in price or more expensive than more common popular favorites. For example, da Vinci Artemis is $32 for 30ml, Daniel Smith Moonglow is $29 for 30ml on Amazon US. Holbein acrylic inks are roughly the same prices as FW and Sennelier. I follow a number of RU-vid artists from Europe, the UK, and Australia, and find it interesting to see what products and supplies everyone uses, but always have to account for price differences here in the US plus whatever shipping would be. I have bought Charvin acrylic paints on sale, and love their colors. They are also pretty expensive here, but sometimes it’s worth it! 😂🙋🏼♀️
Glad you enjoyed! Prices always change and differ greatly. At the time of filming da Vinci had a sale and the prices were extremely affordable. Their tubes are 37ml, not 30. Always check multiple places and wait for sales, that's a must to get a good deal 😉
