If you think about it Travelling is a way of Visiting one's Home No matter how far or how close it is. A visit from your Home, to another person's Home

Been in Lebanon last year for a 2 weeks trip. This place is gorgeous, safe, good food, awesome nature, stuff from fenicians and greak/roman era... and the ppl are so fine. So underrated. Greetings from Brazil.

As a Sudanese ive been to Eritrea twice , we enter visa on arrival. Eritrea is surely a hidden gem for the world , the country feels back its in 1950s and amazingly they preserve these old things very well . Eritrea is also one of the cleanest countries in Africa ive seen really neat and tidy the streets and public places.

This was such a fascinating video, Drew, and I'm so inspired by it. It's encouraged me to continue my explorations of the world and know that there's always something more to see! Thanks!

I’ve been to Afghanistan and Lebanon. Both amazing countries. I only went to Afghanistan for a couple of days as I was in Iran for a month and the two countries share borders. I am 75% Iranian so I speak Farsi so it was easy to communicate with the amazing Afghani people. Lebanon is another fun and unpredictable place. With (I can agree with Drew) the most fun people and in my opinion top three best cuisines Lebanon is another place to add to your bucket list. I’d love to visit Bolivia too. Stay safe everyone and stay home!

Totally agree about Bolivia! Salt flats were one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Cycling down the death road was amazing too!

Yes I am from Afghanistan thank you for your good view about the country. One thing I want to tell drew you have visited only 5% of the country the 95% is undiscovered i know because of the situation you can visit each part but i hope one day peace will be there and everyone will visit as our grandparents are telling 30-40 years ago many germans were visiting there specially for hunting

I haven't been to Afghanistan, but there's an Afghan guy who used to make my lunch 2 or 3 times a week at my job. Lovely veg platter with chickpeas, potatoes, and flatbread. Such a friendly guy, it would be an honor to visit his country one day.

I've been to Lebanon last year and I agree with everything you said about the country. Stunning country with the mountains and the greenery. Upon arriving at Beirut airport I looked outside and could not believe what I was seeing. On one side is the sea, but the other side: a mountain with thousands of lights from the houses on there. The people, the food, the nightlife, all amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Nov 2020 update: I’ve been living in Lebanon since last March. It’s not safe these days.

Some other underrated countries are: Ethiopia Cuba Vietnam Nepal Armenia Uzbekistan.

I loved Lebanon! I felt extremely safe with the exception of in Tripoli. I would definitely return! Just maybe later in September as I found the end of August to beginning of September a touch too warm.

I have been to Afghanistan, but I was in the Marine Corps in 2012. Afghanistan is a beautiful place, and I'm sure the people are phenomenal out there. The country is HOT during the summer months and freezing cold during the winter months (I saw it snow out there). I want to return to Afghanistan as a tourist and explore the country. I would love to meet the kind people out there and try Afghanistan meals!!!! Thanks for this video; I can't wait for the next part of this series!!!!

Bosnia is an awesome and amazing country but is sadly war turned, has a bad reputation and is overshadowed by other countries like italy and Croatia

Drew, I envy you! Traveling is my only real ambition. I've been to only 76 countries, so you are an icon! Some of my favorite countries you have not mentioned are Namibia, Peru, Guatemala, Australia, Norway, Laos... It's a difficult list to compile. All the best from this new subscriber.

I don’t know if you consider it underrated, but Belgium is awesome. My favorite country to visit. It gets seriously overshadowed by its neighbors of the Netherlands, Germany, and France. Same thing with Luxembourg.

Uzbekistan and Myanmar are very underrated countries that deserve more recognition. I’ve been to both and really enjoyed them!

I'm half Eritrean and I have never been so I always need to see this. Most everyone I know that can take me is too scared to go. I wish when im older ill be able to go successfully without issues

Hey Drew, Camba Boliviano here. You definitely need go back multiple times. Every region is crazy different. I was born in Santa Cruz. My grandparents live entre el segundo y tercer anillo en la avenida Busch. My grandad built up a few rooms for Student housing. I can see if he'll rent you out something. Also, if you give him a few glasses of bourbon, he'll tell you some fun stories and crazy history. If he was younger, he may have made a great tour guide. The main city is very diverse with a good mix of Chinese and Japanese communities and lots of Brazilian Students. If you go during the right time, you'll get the best part of the growing season. Fresh Cherimoya, achachairu, pachio, pacay, ambaibas. If you go east towards la Chiquitania, you'll hit some beautiful towns with churches that were built using native Chiquitano and Jesuit influences. The further. You will also get thermal waters once you hit Roboré. That area is know for being special in terms of bio diversity. Something to do with it being a mix of forest and jungle. Also, check out Tarija, land of Los Chapacos. In terms of atmosphere and lovely people, it's my absolute favorite. Very humble people who really enjoy the simple things. the accent has some crazy intonations, people talk like they're singing. They are also incredibly friendly. It's wine country so if you go out to the valley, you'll get wine by the pitcher and chicha de uva. They also produce a liqour called Singani. Many homes and buildings out there have also been built out of the traditional Adobe and are kept that way to preserve it's history. The scenery is very open with lots of hills and very small trees. If you want to visit, let me know. I have a crazy amount of family there. My grandmom was 1 out of 7 sisters and my great grandmom may have been more. Somehow, everyone keeps in touch and are always happy to have people stop by.

Looking forward to more parts in this series. From my travels (47 countries) my most underrated: Colombia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Mexico Ive heard great things about Albania and Montenegro as well but didn't get to those 2.

Oh yes... Lebanon!!! I fell in love with that country this year. I was there the end of January 2020 during the revolution and I can’t wait to go back there again. Friendly people, beautiful landscapes, delicious food and cute streets with lots of restaurants 🇱🇧

my country, colombia! We get a bad rep because of the drugs, but many cities are safe now. we use a cable car/subway hybrid metro system in medellin, and have beautiful scenery. Also visit cartagena, beautiful colonial architecture and beaches!
