The difference is subtile between ci and bian . Ci for actions, BIAN for repeats BIAN is used for a whole process such as listening to the videos of this channel from beginning to the end. Anyway they are both pronounced with 4th tone.
The lesson was well explained. All I need now is vocabulary and sentence structure to make sentence. I really like this lessons the way you explained difference to say a word with examples and difference between two words. Read for more
Some people say: « If a body part is used for an action, then that body part becomes the measure word for that action. » For example: "She kicked me three times" = 她踢了我三脚 Here, 脚 ("foot") is the measure word for "times". I don't think that 次 or 遍 can be used in place of 脚 in this kind of sentence. But perhaps 下 would be okay.
@@dalfireasha I think that some people may say 她踢了我三下. And they may use 下 in place of 次 in other instances. So we need to be prepared for that. But I would not use 下 this way. Especially since 一下 usually means "for a little while", and not "one times".
他每周去两次健身房 = "He goes to the gym twice a week" If the Chinese were to follow the English word order, that would be: 他每周去健身房两次 I think this is probably wrong, because in Chinese, the adverb 两次 should directly follow the verb 去.
Thanks for another great lesson. Here is what was said in Chinese at the end, for learners like me who are trying to catch every word: Hǎo de, nà zhè jiùshì jīntiān de kè. = Ok, so that's today's lesson. Hǎo, nà xièxiè nǐ shōukàn wǒ de shìpín. = Ok, then thank you for watching my video. Wǒmen xià jiù zàijiàn. = See you next time.
Yimin, thanks for the great videos! I download most of them to rewatch and learn! (As a side note, you are a beautiful lady, and your videos with natural you are fantastic! ☺️)
