The API 617 centrifugal compressor datasheet contains all the information necessary for the design of the compressor itself and its main components.
Some of the data available on the datasheet shall usually be defined and stated by the Purchaser. However, other data also be stated by the Manufacturer and are object of the Purchaser Technical Analysis.
The specification and the selection of a centrifugal compressor and each other component of whole unit is mainly driven by the equipment Datasheets properly filled up by the Purchaser first and by vendor after.
Additionally, a supply specification is also advised to be prepared by Purchaser with the aim to detail the overall requirements that regulate the whole scope of supply.
