Understanding Attack and Defense Principles in Chess 

When playing chess, a strong opponent will try to put your pieces in danger and capture them. In this lesson, Coach Chess Chuck teaches you how to protect your pieces from dangers lurking on the chess board, and traps that are set up by your opponent against you.
Chess Chuck goes over how to run away from danger, defend your pieces with another piece, and in some cases, you need to attack your opponent’s pieces instead of defending your own.
You are also challenged to find defenses when two or more of your pieces are threatened simultaneously! Chess Chuck challenges to find solutions in difficult situations, simulating patterns that may occur during your future games against tough opponents!
