Understanding Bhava Chart with an example 

Use the Bhava Chart for rules based on the house position of a planet. For example is you a read a book in which you read this...."Sun in the 1st house makes a person egoistic , very healthy and gives problems to eyes" then see the position of Sun in the Bhava Chart. Do not use the Rasi chart for this.

Great video to get enlightened on importance of Bhava chalet chart! How ignorant we were for long many years and showing the horoscope and getting inaccurate predictions.In my case,ascendant & ascendant lord Mars is located at 23:01 degree & 18:08 degree in Aries Zodiac sign and Saturn is located at Tarus 06:49:30, hence my 10th & 11 house lord(saturn) is supposedly occupies 1st and predicted according to this rule.🙏

Whenever you find time please reply to those who have doubts on this. I think you understood what I said in the video. People keep asking me if the planet that is exalted in RASI Chart is no more exalted because the house position is shifted.

This is actually very clear in western astrology when you have both the rashi chart and the bhava chart together in one wheel. I understand that the Rashi chart is only that - a rashi chart - it shows the placement of the planets in SIGNS, not houses. The only difference here is that here you use the cusps as the middle of the house (KP and western astrology uses cusps as beginnings of houses) and you also use equal house spacing, placing each house cusp at the same degree as the ascendant. By using Sripati system or any unequal house system the shifts of the planets would be even greater. But it would be great if you could explain when to use the bhava chart as I think it is here that confusion is. When we count bhava from a bhava, like the 12th from the 7th, do we use bhavas or rashis to count this? Thank you.

Bhava Chart and Chalit Chart is one and the same. Only difference is I prefer equal house system and some computer horoscopes may give unequal house system.

Sir it very clear that when you say a planet is in one Rasi it's neutral/exalted/debilitated it carries those features partly. When you say it is in a particular house it carries those features partly. When you say that the planet is in high/ medium/low degree in one house the intensity varies accordingly. So a description of a particular planet in a particular house is a total sum of theses features.

I am using Parashara's Light 9.0 software and I cannot find the Bhava Chart in it. So, what I understood here from a beginner's point of view, is that one should read at least the Rasi and Bhava charts simultaneously to have a complete basic reading.

Dear Dhillip sir, you have single handedly made bhava chart an important chart to consider for many people through your bhava chart videos. Most other astrologers disregard bhava chart saying that it's not important. I now down to your efforts sir. I have one question, why do u say that dristhi or aspects are to be seen from Rasi only. If bhava chart maps the exact position of the planets in reference to the lagna bhava madya, the aspects should also be seen through the bhava chart. For example, my Jupiter moves from 3rd house to 4th in the bhava chart. Using jaganath hora, the aspect table also changes if bhava chart is used as the reference. Anyway while the aspect value changes, it still shows Jupiter having aspects on my 7th house and 8th house. In rasi chart, aspect value of 7th house is higher, but in bhava chart aspect value is higher in 8th house. Kindly comment sir. Thank you

Sir, what are the things that we should consider from Birth Chart & what are the things that we should consider from Bhava Chart ? Like aspects, conjunctions, Sign placement etc. from Birth chart, and only house placement from Bhava chart ?

How about ascertaining Yogas when the criteria is based on House? In Jagannatha Software, are they considering the Bhava chart (for house) when giving results of Yogas?

Mangala in my Rasi chart is in Makara sign, Chandra is in Karkata with Dhanus being a lagna sign thus forming chandra-mangala yoga. In Bhava chart Mangala is in Dhanus in Lagna while Chandra holds the same position as in Rasi charts. Does it mean there is no Chandra-Mangala but there is a mahapurusha yoga with exalted Mangala in the first house?

When I was going through all the online videos made by many people, I then suddenly started thinking of this thing on the lagna degree and bhava chart (bhavas are 15 degrees + and - from lagna). Then I had searched for this video of yours and made it clear once again. But it's really nice sir that you teach these basics very clearly. Sir, but again my question here is, why do many people refer only to lagna chart to see in which bhava the planet is? Isn't it wrong?

In the video I have dealt with that. The Rasi chart is the one that shows the real position of the planets in the sky. So Aspects (Dhristis) are to be seen only from the degrees of planets which in turn may be known only from the Rasi Chart.

Vedic is the best or at least from my experience. Why Tropical also works is that the angular distance between planets and planets to Ascendant remain the same. So the bhava positions will remain the same. Moreover conjunctions or aspects remain same. The only thing that changes is lordship, the zodiac signs etc.Astrology has too many variables,

As the bhava changes its degree as per lagna degree, does the bhava lordship also changes, here in bhava chart , if lagna degree is at the start say 1°/at end 28°, in bhava chart it starts from 14° in one zodiac rasi and extends till 14°next zodiac, so a bhava has 2 zodiac rasis here in the eg, then what about it's bhava Lord, then will each bhava has 2 Lords?

It's the truth that the prediction using the bhava chart gave better prediction than without it.

It is not Narayan it is NIRAYAN. spelling you used is wrong. There is the RASI Chart and the BHAVA CHALIT chart. The RASI Chart is physical 30 degrees where the entire zodiac is divided into 12 part with junctions always at 30, 60, 90, 120 and so on. In the CHALIT chart the LAGNA degree is the mid point of each house. If you watch the video again and again you will surely understand.

Should the Bhava chart be made from the D-9 chart or D-1? Jupiter is in the 3rd (marakasthana) in D-9 and the Bhava chart from D-9. If Bhava chart is made from D-1 (Jupiter in 6th), Jupiter moves to the 7th. Hence asking. Can you kindly shed light? Sir Lagna is Tauras at 6.52 Deg and Jup is in 11th house with 29.39. In Bhava it shows in 12th. I am not able to understand that for which bhava Jup will give more results, 11 th or 12th. It is in own sign so it will give good result but will it give bad results for 12th? I will grateful to you if you could clear this doubt.

sir, why is ASC taken as middle point? Suppose a person has ASC 1 degree Aries, then the person has full house as the 1st house. but if we take middle point, then 1st house will become last 15 deg of Pisces and ONLY 15 deg of Aries. whereas as ASC 1deg, it can have full aries as 1st house.. plz clarify.. Could you please clarify if the bhava midpoint keeps changing with Lagna ascending deg or is it always fixed at 29deg of each house? For example if Lagna is 15Deg ... would you still calculate the Bhava midpoint from 29 or now it will at 15Deg since Lagna is at 15? Thank you

As you have stated, there is change in house but rashi will reamain same if planet is not coming within 15 degs from bhav madhya.. that thought is clear.. but my concern is that if planet is forming yoga in in rashi chart by sitting with other planet say Venus and mercury in same house in rashi then we can consider it as conjunction.. but in bhavchalit if the same mercury shifts forward and venus does not change it's position.. then what will be result?? I mean, do we have to consider it as conjuction or we shall not consider it as conjuction?? Also, If planets are not in same house in rashi but in bhavchalit they come in same house then Do we have to consider them as forming conjuction?? Could you please elaborate on this?? sorry another question. My lagna degree varies depending on which system I follow? The difference is as large as 23 degrees between KP system and western astrology or even Lahiri/Bradley /Raman system. What should one believe? Or does the answer varies depending on who you ask! Thanks

In Rashi chart Sun present in 28 degrees at 9 th house and in bhava chart it moves to 10th house ...because of ascendant lagna fall at 8 degrees!! What should be the accurate house for sun to take !!!

If, the planet is near to the bhava end Ex, mid is 26 and end is 11 degree. A planet of 9 rashi coming to 8th bhava at 10 degree will guve less impact as placed in 8th. But, the good will of the planet will go to 8th or more to 9th ? Bcz, its major pirtion laying in 9th degree Its for your advise

SAT is 29Deg Virgo..so in Bhava Chart it moves to 4th house.. so We will understand that though Sat is in 4th house (in Bhava Chart) it will not be exalted in libra however it will still be in Virgo.. Similarly..Venus 23Deg Taurus 11th house in Rasi Chart..but comes in 12th house in Gemini in Bhava...it will still be treated as OWN house for Venus but will be said to be in 12th house? Hi Sir/Dipin, I can see Bhava Chakra /Chalit Chakra in Jhora , I think this is the Bhava Chart ( also called Nirayana Bhava chart). In settings I can only set the reference point as Moon/Sun etc. In preferences, there is no setting for Bhava chart. Can you please guide where I can see the setting for equal house. Thanks again..

I know I've done my calculations right...but still the planets that shift to another house due to Bhava considerations don't give the same results as what I get from considering their house placement in Rasi - In other words Rasi makes more sense. I can only guess the use of Bhava has to be something else, but not house placement per se.

sir bhava chart assists in prediction it is not more important than rashi chart because houses are known by number. example my second house is sign next to my lagna. number 2 is much more important than house size or whatever. bhava and raashis are merged in kaalpurush chart so they have deep impact regarding houses in chart. maharshi parashara suggest to check houses from 3 lagnas tey are bhava lagna, ghatika lagna and hora lagna.

What about the dasa effects of a planet which changes house from rasi chart to bhava chart?...will it give mixed results? i.e. the result of house placement in bhava chart and of the conjunction / aspect in rasi chart?... Please enlighten me. .

when you say that consider the house effects of planet only in bhava chart then what is your view regarding the exaltation\debilitation consideration of planet once it moves in new rashi in bahava chart! eg my Jupiter in pices in 5th housein rashi chart moves into 6th house in aries in bhava chart.Should I considered Jupiter in pices in sixth hous e for house effects and while considering aspects I use rashi chart where it aspects 11th house with mercury exalted. thanks

but what about rulership? for example in my rasi Saturn rules 2 and 3 houses and is located in 12th and in Bhava Chalit chart Saturn is in lagna. So should I consider that my 2 and 3 lord is in 12 or in lagna?

There is an option in Jhora..when you select the bhava chart you can set the preferences for the calculations..you may choose Equal , un-equal depends upon ur choice..!
