i am doing systematic review, do i need to include figures? if i am doing systematic review and meta-analysis, this mean i need figures?? so what kind of figures i need to make a forest plot?
Dr Puneet Gupta thank u for your fast reply, what I want to say is that I am confused and don't know what results I need to put in the forest plot, do I need the SD or Mean or IC? I am doing a dissertation about: can exercise program reduce falls in elderly? So I need %fall to make the forest plot? Or what? What kind of results I need to include in the first plot?
hi dr Puneet. I have a doubt about meta-analysis in general. can we do a meta-analysis in a systematic review when the study designs vary from each other?
Meta analysis is a statistical procedure. Variation in study design is an epidemiological issue. More to be decided at the systematics review stage. If you are including different study design you can pool results.
