Be careful with moisannite and anything oily like hand creams, salad dressing, etc. It will ruin the sparkle of the stone. Moisannite is porous and will soak up the oil with a permanent affect.

L GaRi Colorless Diamonds are hard to come by. Less than 1% of the Diamonds that come out of the earth are D or E. “I” color stones are beautiful!

Costco always has diamonds ranging up to D for incredible prices 😊

That's a good question.. Other than a color reflection coming from an external stimuli, we have not experienced a diamond that shows more color in the body compared the face up view. The brilliance emitted from the face-up view should help hide some of the diamonds true body color. But if a diamond lacks in brilliance, the color will show up more from the face up view as there will be less distraction. Regarding fancy shapes - if the diamond is face down, the diamond won't be emitting that brilliance, so the diamonds color distribution is technically even. However usually the thicker/larger a diamond is, the easier it is to see the color saturation. So the tips should appear whiter compared to the belly of the diamond even though the substance is technically the same color. It's sort of similar to stained glass. You can have two pans of stained glass that are the same exact color but when those pans are placed together, it will look a shade darker compared to one standing alone. There can be other variables that can come into play, but the explanation above should be the most common example that I can think of.

Hi, since you're interested in a yellow gold settling, you might be able to get away with a J-K color diamond without seeing too much contrast between the center stone and setting (depending on how color sensitive you are). They tend to blend in more nicely together compared to a lower colored diamond in a white gold setting. If the diamond emits rainbow colors, it could be real. Like crystals, the sparkle in a diamond can show all of the colors of a rainbow depending on the lighting environment they are placed under. However there are other types of stones that can replicate this effect as well. So they are possibility real diamonds, but I'd need more information to know for sure.

That's a good question. The (shine/brilliance) of a diamond has more to do with their cut quality. However, if the pendant diamonds look warm to you regarding their color (compared to being icy white), you might indeed want to consider upgrading the color of the diamonds.
