Aesop sucks. It's only cryptic because his lyrics are such big stretches that it's hard to tell what two ideas his connecting. He stretches so much harder then most hashtag rappers that people people think it's smart. Plus he has the flow and voice of a trailer park rapper. No personality.

I love the comparison the Film Crit Hulk made in his piece about Kanye, basically, his work is the musical equivalent of James Joyce novels. Complex and maybe even arrogant perspective of an artist so far removed from the real world. I would recommend anyone interested in Yeezy's music to check it out
I think he’s kinda nuts of course, but I don’t understand being angry about him being an idiot. Like, if he insulted me personally, I wouldn’t be hurt because we agree he’s kinda full of himself, and dumb. And so if he insulted someone else, there’s not really something worth getting angry over. I think it’s just something to laugh about.
The gift of Creativity if not wisely managed can become a curse".. I think this is Kanye's problem...theres no argument he is a genius, he's a visual highly creative artist ...but he needs to manage his emotions. I feel like Kanye taps into this realm of gifteness that he's bigger than himself...but he finds it hard to communicate to the world and he's frustrated with that.
+fonkymaster The Life of Pablo was either some of his best work or just mediocre, no where inbetween (ex: No More Parties In LA, Real Friends, Ultralight Beam, Father Stretch My Hands, Silver Surfer Intermission and more are all amazing while stuff like Highlights, Waves, and Facts are just medicore). No song is "absolute shit" and I'll fight you on that. Kanye is definitely one of the most consistently great artists. He does not have one album below an 8/10. (not counting Cruel Summer since it wasn't mainly him)
