Understanding Lupus 

we lost our son, Matthew Patrick Grimes in June 2014 because of complications from Lupus. He was just 20 years old. He lived in pain for years and it just got worse. It robbed him, his family and his friends of a wonderful life. He left such a positive impact on so many other people while he was alive......its sad to think what else he could have accomplished. Many think its a fake disease, but it is VERY real.

Just day before yesterday I got a very unexpected call from my doc an urgently pulled into the office same day..everyone was so quiet around me... She said she thinks it's lupus and is sending me to a rheumatologist to make sure that is indeed what I have. I'm only 26. I'm so scared by this. I just wanted to feel better. I thought it was hypothyroidism... Apparently not. My husband still thinks I'm just lazy and will just use this as an excuse. It hurts my feelings but I hope with time he will learn and do better.

Do it and your life will slowly get better, or maybe quickly. It probably just depends on you and the kind of person you are/have been.
